I do have a LG 50pn6500 and it works great if untill i toutch toutch the volume or mute button after the tv is on for let say 15 minutes. If i press on it it shut off for a few minutes then come back on after a few minutes and still working great. -

TW2005 YOU SAID, you can test the SU/SD boards. If they test with no shorts or low resistances then I'd re-use them.
I found placing the red probe to the gnd plates and black to the pinouts gave the most accurate result for resistance.
I use my black probe on my pin number 1 to 9 of SD42 and SU41 but i just try to figure which point you are using from there to get your resistance? Can you tell me from where to where i have to put my probes to get the resistance? Thank you.

At the start the back light is pretty strong but for a fraction of second. I do have 2 other faulty power suply of the same model so i will try to swap a few component from bord to board to see if it can change something. Thank you!!

Ok thank you!! Already did theses 2 fix but no chances. If i am asking to get more power the back light shut off. Like if i do a volume test and if i raise the volume on the roof or if i plug the HDMI cable back light shut down. Thanks for your tought!!!Leave a comment:

Hey guys!
i do have a problem of i would believe the back light on my tv. All the settings seems to work fine but from the left to the right the screen is geeting darker. I just want to get some opinions. Thank you.

zdsh07p9 did you figure what your problem is? I would think you will have to change the Voltage Regulators - Switching Regulators and the Schottky Diodes & Rectifiers.

I do have a problem with my TV. When i plug the tv the standby light turn on. As soon i press on the power, the chanel or the volume on the standby light flash non stop and nothing happen. On the main board there is a small black buton, i guess it's a reset? If i plug it in and press on the small buton the back light turn on but for 0.1 second then shut down again. Any idea? -
