My brothers TV decided to go belly up while watching it. Had the smell of burnt plastic and it simply stopped working shortly after and as such will not power on. He had it in a cabinet without the best airflow overall which likely contributed to failure.
Attempting to power it only results in the typical 'clicking' during power-on from the secondary. After inspection it turns out an N-Channel Mosfet on the secondary side of the PSU not only overheated but also melted the solder it was anchored to. Ended up burning the PCB on the other side as well which made finding the culprit easy enough. The mosfet is an APM1110N of TO-252 package and I've attached the closest PDF match I can find without redirect issues.
My issue here is mainly sourcing a replacement mosfet for the repair. I cannot seem to find any sources for an APM1110N at all and being I that don't work with Mosfets much I don't know a suitable replacement for the task.
For reference, the power board is marked OPVP-0222
Could use some suggestions for a more durable or at least comparable match.
