Greetings. I was troubleshooting a friend's Vizio TV that would turn on but had no picture. I noticed that the master inverter board had a blown ceramic 10Amp fuse. I ran a jumper cable across the fuse and the TV screen came on and worked fine. I replaced the fuse and the TV worked fine for a couple of weeks but then blew the fuse again. I replaced the fuse yet again but in blew again in a few days.
While the fuse was good the TV worked fine. Are there any suggestions as to what to check for to determine why the fuse is blowing or would a new inverter board be in order?
I have +24V at the input to the fuse btw.
