Samsung un60f6300afxza led light 6 blinks

Anybody have any experience with these? The led imes when i try to turn itlight blinks 6 times when i try to turn it on, im thinking its the main board, i got standby voltage so it has to be main right?

IF you cant tell us CLEARLY what you mean--How on EARTH can we tell whats wrong!

(I know this aint an English class--but we need to at least UNDERSTAND what you are on about!)

sorry didn't even notice that, however what I mean is the led light blinks 6 times when I try to power on the tv, I have the correct standby voltage so I was thinking it would be main board fault? im still learning so all help is much appreciated, thanks

The most common issue with these sets are bad LEDs in the panel. The set will appear to power on, but will not light up the display. This might be what you are seeing.

Disconnect cable from power board to main board.and power on backlight should be on.thenpower board and back light led is ok.

thanks a lot this was something new I learned, the back light did appear so it is main board fault?

Good to hear. Note this only really applies to Samsung sets. But a good trick to have.

Unless your model was manufactured in March of 2013 or earlier you may not need to replace the main. In my experience with this issue it is a Firmware and Lead cable problem.

SYMPTOM:
The TV powers OFF and ON by itself.

- REPAIR GUIDE:
1) Replace the main PCB ONLY IF the TV was manufactured in March, 2013 or earlier and the serial number is listed in Contact Samsung (Menu>Support>Contact Samsung). If the Main board has been replaced or the serial number is not displayed in Menu>Support>Contact Samsung, DO NOT REPLACE the main board.
2) Update the TV’s S/W to the latest version, if possible.
(Note: Make sure to download the SW file from SAMSUNG.COM prior to the customer visit.)

T-MST12AKUC 1118.1
or higher 11/27/13 ( check for accuracy )

Also Samsung recommends replacing the LEAD Cable which in my experience is the real problem, the part number for your model is BN39-01652E.

@Terry, is that not the same problem that effects the ES-series TVs with a burn mark on the power connector? (I have my brother's UE46ES8000 with same fault.)

It's UE (European, LED backlit LCD TV) smart 2012 model. 18 months old when it packed in. I did tell him to avoid Samsung....

So i have a Samsung UN55H6203AFXZA same issue (6 blinks, but no screen activity) and i tried that trick you suggested, but nothing came on, what does that mean? TV totally dead? LEDs burned out? backlight burned out?

How do i check stand by voltage ?

I'm working on a Samsung UN65JU6700FXZA, a 65" curved screen model about 2 1/2 years old. When I first got it in, I had a red standby light but it wouldn't turn on. The standby light would just flicker when I press the power button on the back or on the remote. So I ordered a replacement "used/tested good" power board on Ebay. Now when I attempt to power it up, I get the same problem as above with the standby light blinking 6 times, pauses, blinks 6 times again and keeps looping until I shut it off. I verified the backlights work by unplugging the main board. Has anyone gotten a hold of Samsung's official list of what the codes mean for the number of blinks? I was just on chat with them for almost an hour only to find out they can only give that info to "authorized service personnel". I did notice the heat sink on the main board gets rather warm in a short time and I suspect it may be bad, but I also want to rule out having 2 bad power boards. Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Sorry I don't have any pictures handy at the moment. My phone is also malfunctioning. I have over 16GB free on the SD card and on the internal memory but I get a "can not save" message when ever I try to take a picture. It's an LG G5.

Same issue with it blinking 6 times, tried the cable disconnected from Power to main board, no backlight... should power board be issue? Or? Thanks in advance
