Re: Panasonic Plasma TH-50PZ800U power supply light 2 blinks
I agree with Mr Bob ! Soldering small circuitry that requires magnification is a
minefield of possible very difficult situations . So, the course of wisdom is to achieve the best result from the least correction that solves the problem ! Less intrusion is safer !
FYI..the little sister boards are not the same ( identical ) so not interchangeable !
MC201 = MDPPNB331
MC301 = MDPPNB102
( Look on the reverse side of IC )
You will see noticeably...

Re: Samsung PN60E6000GF 60" Smart TV turns off, red flashing power light
You are not contending with a short ! An intermittent open connection is more likely.
Next step is to scrape clean the black off the ground connects on the solder side....
The broken circle contacts where the mounting screws hold the PC board in place.
I can clearly see in your pix ! All should be shiny...re-test after you do this step and
if it does not fix, we will go to the next step.

Re: Samsung PN60E6000GF 60" Smart TV turns off, red flashing power light
Use an old toothbrush and alcohol to clean area.
Pins are two offset rows.....
Take another pix when clean....Last edited by Terryfictv; 05-31-2016, 01:51 PM.

Remove clear "blob" on the solder side of board ( area #2 )
Leave white blob on component side alone for now !Last edited by Terryfictv; 05-31-2016, 11:55 AM.

Samsung Plasma PN64D8000FFXZA No Pix after hot, audio OK
Removed PSU BN44-00447A and found obvious bad solder connect
on TS802S transformer. Soldered any / all suspect connects and test.
Solid fix !

Re: Samsung LN32A300J1D Whitescreen
Also essential is a microscope to get the image big enough to snap a pix
that will clearly show the IC legs attached properly to each trace on the board.
That will avoid re-does .And be advised that an AS-15 and AS-19 are not subbed
either way. Buy both in quantity from China for a buck apiece !

Re: onkyo ht-r590
Sometimes replacing the SMD capacitors ("top hats") AND re flow will work....for a while.

Re: Panasonic Viera P55GT31 7 blinks to 8 blinks
My experience with SC ( seven blinks ) and SS ( eight blinks ) failure indicates a very common repair principle over-looked ! If you ever get to work on one with the obvious symptom of buzzing noise coming from the SC and/or SS boards you will appreciate what I am about to tell you.I just finished a thorough final complete repair on a TC-P55VT50.
I opened to find very loose screws on SC and one or two loose on SS. Panasonic has said replace with new ( Part # XYN3+F6FJ-18PK ) [ NO LONGER AVAILABLE ]!!
I had one package...

Re: Samsung PN64E550D1F squirrley issues
Pull the power board and examine the solder pins of heat sinked devices with a magnifier.
Solder any and all suspect connects and re-install / test.
