    TX-L50EM6B shadowed screen on one side

    hi all been a while picked this up tonight
    TX-L50EM6B but sadly it has a half screen darker than other

    ive stripped it down and checked tcon and cables
    also usual tab bonds to no avail

    so can anyone shed any light on what I can do try etc

    picture below of problem this is an led tv

      If B/L is good on that side, probably panel is bad. It looks like a panel fault to me.

        How to test bl per side mate didnt knw there. WAs 2 bl if
        panel can I fix it

          Looking at the image the backlight is working on the faulty side as I can see the writing clearly. A panel fault is not repairable

            You will be able to see if the backlight is evenly lit across the screen by looking at the "black glow" (the glow from the screen when displaying a black image.) It should be approx. the same brightness.

            Panel faults usually can't be fixed as newtothis says...

              There is too much bleed across the centre to be backlights too
