    Panasonic tx-p50c2b A board fault

Hi guys have a Panasonic board with faulty A board.
    Set flashes 10 times.
    Part number tnph0829 TXN/A1MEUE
I cannot find a replacement anywhere was hoping someone out there has repaired these before and can point me in the right direction.
There's a guy on eBay recently advertising a repair service for this board so assume there's a common fault on it.
    Thanks in advance

So you tried disconnecting, SC2,SS11,P35, and the 3 white ribbons on the A board and still 10 blink?

That is a suggestion. If it 10 blinks doing that then it's A or P but since you've had a shot at P then it would be A. P boards generally are pretty robust.

Any history on this Tv , symptoms of what happened etc or purchased broken?

don't reconnect anything after you undo all those and power cycle it, will have to wait for the voltages to bleed off for a few minutes otherwise things can be damaged including the panel.

only run it long enough toe get a result.

No worries, I'll be off by then but Tom or someone else may continue when you come back with something.

handy to know how it broke sometimes, like someone may say eg.

I was watching it and heard a loud pop and the TV shut down and now 10 blinks. Or we had a lightning storm etc

If you have not already, download the service manual

Re: Panasonic tx-p50c2b A board fault

there has been a case of 10 blink with the F15v line going open due to blown SMD fuse on the A board , PA5610, 4A 32v.

on the underside near a stencil marking Q5471, Q5472

Re: Panasonic tx-p50c2b A board fault

Right I found a working A board tried it and same fault. Which prompted me to look elsewhere. Found shorted mosfets on SC board tnpa5063.
Anybody had success repairing these? See a repair kit on eBay but it's in the usa. Can't find a uk based service.

                            Good to hear.

I can't help but wonder if you ever followed through with what I suggested early on?
If that was done , we should have been able to determine if 10 blink was A or SC and that was the intent and purpose of that step.

Anyway, pretty sure those A boards are hard to get and they do fail so a handy spare or you should be able to resell it.

Plus you now have a working TV to test it to be sure it's good
