PANASONIC TC-P50G20 - New issue after replacing SC board

    Hi guys,

Original problem was TV would not turn back on after I heard a pop and it shut off (this was months ago). I forget the exact blink code but from my searches I traced it to most likely be a bad SC board.

Ordered one up from EBAY, received it and then got busy and fast forward a few months to today, installed it.

Great news is the TV now turns on! Huzzah I thought, everything works good, started watching a show to test, found one thin blue vertical line down the screen (see attached).

Wondering if this could be a new different fault of the replacement board I received or something else I am overlooking.

-TV did not have this line before original problem.
-After discovering it I re-seated and used compressed air to clean the connections for SC board as well as the ribbons for the C boards along the bottom.

usually it's a panel fault, bad luck it coincided with the SC failure. You could go into the service menu (mirror) and do a horizontal flip , if the line stays put, then either panel or the c buffer for that section but history has shown it to be panel.
