Zemtronix Repair Kits

Does anyone know about the Zemtronix Circuit Board repair kit sold on Ebay?
The kits do not specify what problem it addresses. Are they common parts that fail regularly? Kits don't list parts included. I checked voltage regulators and capacitors.

I ordered a kit for a Vizio M420SV with 0171-2272-3714 board. They stated the three components that come in kit in order of likely fault,#1 voltage regulator, #2 EEPROM, #3 Main cpu.

Haven't received it yet. I will update thread will results.

Got the kit in and all it contained was two am117 voltage regulators and two 5amp/125v smd fuses. I read his email incorrectly. This kit was for only one fault that it could be. Would like to try eeprom, but there are none available for this unit.

Check voltages on U3 and U9 and the two white fuses by connector on main board to make sure that is your problem.

My TV on power up, vizio logo on bezel lights up, goes amber, lights up again with backlights, then goes amber again. Main board is $118 and I am too cheap. Good Luck.

Just noticed you have a different model so u3and u9 might not be correct on your board. Sorry..

In case anyone is ever wondering about Zemtronix for future reference, DO NOT USE THEM. Be aware of any company that sells kits but does not offer repair services.
I have in the past purchased their kits, and while the parts they sell are good working parts they rarely address the most common issues that your board is actually going to be having.
