    There are some similarities with the Main PCB for the 47VL863 model.

    TOSHIBA 47VL863 - circuit diagrams for Main PCB (PE0993):


    The "S5L LVDS" diagram on page 8 shows the CN650/CN651 differential pairs that go to the T-Con PCB.

    The "Power Connector" diagram on page 99 shows the CN90/CN91 pinout from the PSU.

        Using the above info, here is my take on the CN2 connector pinout at the inverter:

        Code:
        1 - 5  +24V    Backlight Power Supply +24.0V 
6 - 10 GND     Backlight Ground
11   STATUS   Normal: Low (Under 0.7V) Abnormal: High (Upper 3.0V)
12   ON/OFF   On/Off Control 5V = On, 0V = Off
13   VBR-A    Analog Dimming Control (DC) 0V - 3.3V
14   EXTVBR-B  Burst Dimming Control (PWM) 30% - 100%
        Connector CN1 appears to provide the signal path between the T-Con and the controller(s) on the inverter PCB.

        1 REVERSEI
        2 ?? Enable
        3 DCLK
        4 GND
        5 DIN
        6 SCL
        7 SDA
        8 VSYNC

        U1 appears to be a dual boost converter controller. Each converter consists of two coils, a MOSFET chopper, a flywheel diode, and an electrolytic capacitor. The panel appears to be electrically divided into right and left sections, each with its own power/data cable (CN201 / CN202).

        U2 appears to be an intelligent LED driver. There are 16 MOSFETs, each of which handles one of 16 LED arrays, 8 per side. U2 communicates with the T-Con uC, either via I2C (SDA/SCL) or DIN/DCLK, or both. I suspect that REVERSEI reverses the image.

        U3 appears to be a 3.3V LDO regulator.

        I wonder what would happen if the ribbon cable (CN1) were disconnected. Would the T-Con sense a fault condition and blank the display?

            Hmm, that makes no sense. Perhaps it inverts the digital inputs ???

                                Dears, this is my first post here and first try to fix my own laptop Apple MacBook Pro Retina 15-inch Mid 2015.
                                I have some general electronics troubleshooting experience and still as my hoppy but this is my first laptop trying to fix.

                                History: my laptop backlight stopped working without any reason.
                                Symptoms:
                                I have image on screen using my flashlight.
                                I have fully working laptop with the help of my external SAMSUNG LED tv via HDMI cable.
                                Keyboard backlight still working and can be adjusted normally.

                                This chinese all in one computer gives an image when connected to an external vga monitor but only the backlight with integrated monitor (no image). Initially I thought it was an edid problem on the eeprom of the screen but then I saw that the monitor works correctly with another identical motherboard (model th410-d4, read by bios). Unfortunately the motherboard is chinese and has no brand or codes on the pcb. The format seems ITX. Nothing can be found online. The official yashi site provides drivers but not the bios. The electrical diagram is obviously unobtainable

                                Hi all
                                I have a Macbook Pro A2442 with the 820-02098 from a friend which has no picture on the display, however, the backlight works.
                                He was streaming a football match on a questionable site, then the site crashed, and the problem emerged.
                                Initially, he sent it to apple, who quoted him £1323.95 to replace the display, lid angle sensor and top case.
                                Obviously, he decided against this and gave it to me so that I could have a crack at it.
                                From initial diagnostics, I connected to an external monitor, I first tried with a HP 22W monitor, and I booted into the boot menu...

                                Hi everyone!

                                First post on here so do tell me if i'm doing anything wrong. I have a laptop that came in with a broken hinge, but a healthy LCD. We replaced the LCD rear cover and now we do not get an image on the LCD anymore, though we get one via HDMI. There is sadly no schematic or boardview available for this motherboard (Bucks U42 DIS 17817-1) as far as i can tell, but I was able to identify which of the important pins on the LCD eDP connector (30 pin 2 lane) correspond to which pins on the motherboard display connector (which is 40pin, 30 for LCD and 10 for camera/face rec etc)...

                                Hello Community!

                                CASE DETAILS

                                Promblem Signs: Backlight on 1 sec off 7sec > repeat && Red standby light: 1blink, off 3 sec, 2 blinks, off 5 secs, 2 blinks, off 3 sec, restart cycle

                                13V present on powerboard output. Backlight continues flashing after removing cables to pannel one at a time and even with both disconnected. NOTE: backlight STOPs flashing and remains on when connector between powerboard and mainboard (note Tcon built in) is disconnected.

                                Tried inserting firmware on USB and left it in for a few hours, but no change
