    Lg 32ln530b-ua

I was watching this led tv and the screen went black. I get sound and everything but no picture. I did the flash light test and see that I do have a picture on the screen. From reading things I think it is the power supply board or the led driver board. (Correct me if I am wrong or if it might be something else.) If it is one of those two things how do I know which one? I also read some power supply boards have that led driver board built in. Anyway I can tell if it is with this model.

I am not really sure what to replace.

If anyone does know what parts I need to replace can they link them as well. ( I am going to borrow one from my friend, so what and how do I test this stuff. I have no with electronic boards and what not.)

Just an fiy, I do not have a volt meter so I am not able to test anything.

    Thanks again everyone.

The power supply board number is EAX64905001 rev 3.0 4/18/2013 version (2.7)

looks like its built into your power board, thats the one I'd go with, since like you said, you have no testing equip. looks like theres a couple different ones for these, I would call and make sure it fits your panel # and serial #, and to double check that it coulds be the board you need, http://www.shopjimmy.com/catalogsear...Lg+32ln530b-ua

Just curious based on what I said do you think it is def. the power supply board with the led driver or do you think it could be something else? If i was able to to get a meter what else would I test?

      Thanks again for your reply.

I would be inclined to waste $5 on a meter in case the led strings are shorted/open

I am going to borrow one from my friend. How would I test that? I really dont have any experience doing any of this.

First get the meter find the model download an instruction book if your friend doesnt have one and learn how to use the meter.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
                by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

Panasonic switching power supply daughter board has two 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors which I do not keep in stock
                by sam_sam_sam
I did not have any 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors but one nice thing is that it has enough room for two capacitors in parallel a 22uf and a 4.7uf @ 50 volts 22 plus 4.7 equals 26.7uf which so very close to 27uf I will show some pictures of it sometime tomorrow

This is one of the shit est boards I seen in a very long time and it was the daughter board the traces just lifting off the board I had to use the capacitor leads to repair the the traces and the main board is not any better because I had to repair several traces for the daughter board to the main board

Zombie Samsung UN55NU6900F dead / no standby voltage - randomly came to life after hours of troubleshooting then died
                by tvguy12012012120
This is my first attempt at troubleshooting a board like this, I know I could just buy a new board but I'm curious to figure out how this works. I've been testing different components in the evenings this week and I think the problem is with the IC failing to start up for some reason. When the board is plugged in there is no standby voltage.

Then today it randomly sprung to life like a zombie but shortly died thereafter. I have no idea why it would have done that and its the first time I've seen it running. I discharged capacitors on the board last night, then it was sitting today....

                Hey everyone,

This power supply board is hard to find but there are repair kits available. This board had a blown fuse, FP801S, blown PFC MOSFET, QP802CS and ceramic cap, CP809. I replaced them with parts I already had and tested the rest of the parts that would've come in the repair kit and they were fine. I powered the board up on the bench expecting, in typical Samsung power supply board fashion, to see all my output voltages but, nothing. 0 volts on CNL801, CNM801 and CNT801. The only thing I have is 170vdc on the filter caps. No standby voltage either.

                Anybody...

Hey everyone, hope everyone is fine, I got an issue hoping you guys can help me,

I got a HP V193 monitor it has a E59670 now i got a few of these, been using them for long time now, however this particular monitor was blacking out for a few times then after unplugging and plugging it back in it gets back to normal until now its dead.

I tried switching the power supply board with another similar monitor and it works,so I'm trying to fix this power supply board I got some basic in electronics as a hobbyist.

                Steps taken so far:
