LG 46LD550 flickering, shaky, horizontal lines

The TV is about 4 years old and just started having this problem. When it is first turned on after being off for awhile, the screen is all horizontal lines that are flickering and shaky. After the TV has been on for 10 minutes or so, the problem slowly disappears until the picture is normal. Does this seem like a TCON board issue or something else.

I think you have to open up the tv and try unplug the lvds cable, clean the flat connector to the tcon and reinsert.
