on the jvc, strip it down to the frame, not sure if its the best way, but I laid it face down on a quilt, unscrewed all the screws from the back, make sure theyr all out, then had a helper and me hold the tv at all four corners because now back is loose, flip it over on its back with screen facing up, take off the metal fame held by screws, then you have access to tab bonds, figure out which one/s it is, slight pressure to make them tighter, I used a half piece of I believe it was 1/4 inch clear plastic flexible tubing, anything that wont lose dry up will prob. do, you put it between your loose bond and the frame, took me several tries to get it just right, its been a while, but if you have any problems, post it here, with maybe a pic. or two, let us know how it goes.

I had a similar problem with a wrong firmware (or parameters). In my case (https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showpo...10&postcount=5) I swapped a memory chip between old and new board and it worked.

On the board from the OP here I see 3x SOIC or SOP-8 packages, could be memory too.
