    S42AX-XB01TV help

I'm replacing the main board on this model tv, and have a black wire that fell out - obviously anchored with one of the mounting screws on one end, but have no idea where it belongs. Suggestions?
The exterior tag says Dell W4200HD. The interior tag is Samsung S42AX-XB01.

It's probably just a ground wire and can be mounted to the closest screw available. If you mean it fell out of the connector, do you know which connector it came out of? Does it still have the crimped end on it or did the wire fall out of the fitting as well?

Vintage fan repair, copper wire question
      by technicalspecialist
I currently have a customer's vintage fan on the work bench to repair.
It uses an induction motor with 4 poles. One of the poles is open.
I couldn't find the break so i cut off the original wire.
I have measured the other poles and the resistance is about 28 ohms per pole and I measured the diameter of the wire with my digital calipers and it is 0.35mm in diameter.

I need to work out how much 0.35mm diameter enamelled copper wire i need to order for it to be 28 ohms. I have used this calculator and it says i need 160.35 metres.

      The enamelled copper...

Fix broken tinsel wire on Speaker
      by mar1in
      Hi everyone,

I've saved a pair of Philips AH 495 speakers from landfill and diagnosed the woofers are not working due to a loose or broken tinsel wire just on the joint of the cone (left wire on the picture)

What's the best and easiest way to fix this without damaging the cone ?
Can this be simple soldered on?...

I am trying to fix a shear that has a bad selector switch and the manual for this machine is terrible at best so I need to use a wire sorter to figure out where each wire goes on this machine

This is the reason for buying on the seller made me a counter offer that I accepted for this tool

      Benq G2420HD wire identification/assignment & LED conversion
      by TacoLoco
Long story short... ccfl's failed, bought this "ca-155" led replacement but can't identify pin/wire assignment on both power supply board and logic board since neither have anything printed over the pcb, no ENA, DIM, VCC, GND, 5v, BL-ADJ or anything like that, nothing!!!
