Re: Good sturdy wall mount for Plasma
My 50" Pioneer Kuro, a ~40kg TV, is held up by a £9.99 eBay wall mount. Been up for near 7 months now.
It's really the fixing into the wall that matters, the brackets themselves are sturdy enough. In my case, I used very thick threaded bolts into a red brick chimney. Eight of them. The bolts cost £12 for 8, but they are worth it for the peace of mind. Any two bolts can support the full weight of the TV. I did NOT use the raw plugs that come with the bracket; I would not use them on a TV bigger than 32" myself.
Make sure your TV uses a VESA-compatible mount pattern; most brackets are made for this. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: Good sturdy wall mount for Plasma
It's a good panel. I've heard with some tweaks black level can rival a 50" 9G. Shame Pioneer never made a 42" 1080p panel - that would absolutely rock for a bedroom screen. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!
