inlets are tiny, multi meter probes wont fit.

crap, was looking and found this burn mark on connector wires from a board to g board, wonder what caused this, thinking its bad.

As I indicated, the Diode is connected in parallel with the relay coil (62 Ohms), it is snubber to reduce the kick back voltage from the relay coil back into the circuit and damage the drive transistor. This section of the power supply board is not the problem, you are looking at the wrong place.

will try my best to figure out how to do it, Thanks budm.

with only g board hooked up, getting 6.45 on stby, and no other voltages, i think thats normal with just the one board hooked up, now I think I need to jumper my board from stby to p-on, not seeing a ps-on, do I need to leave the jumper connected or is it just touch and release?, Thanks.

Thanks budm, sorry to be so thick, when you say 500~1000v, do you mean voltage-forward, voltage-dc reverse or current-reverse leakage, I'm guessing 500~1000 means from 500 up to 1000.

So does your main board has this cap on the bottom side?

When you check semiconductor for shorts, leakage resistance, you use Ohm mode because when semiconductor shorted out it will no longer act as semiconductor.
you can use 1N 4007 in its place. You can verify by check the resistance of the two copper pads where the diode's legs are connected to and see what resistance you get.
BTW, if the power supply is bad it will affect not just the pictures but also other circuits as well.
Thanks Budm, I thought all diodes were one way, now in my ignorance I took off and broke a good part, I'll try to find a replacement.

    Samsung QE50Q67TAU - horizontal lines
    by Rubenlily
    Hello,

First of all I'm new here. While looking I found this amazing forum and I'm very happy I did. Now for my problem:

I picked up a Samsung UHD QLED QE50Q67TAU from 2021 for $50 knowing it was defective. The seller said it had black lines and that it could get stuck in boot randomly.

I've tried a new power cable, hard reset, opening up and jiggling all cables, pressing everywhere to see if I get a reaction but I've gotten nothing. I've tried the tape method but I've only managed to get the lines worse.

I'm no expert but I've done the tape...

    Samsung QN50Q60t lines on screen
    by jeyoung12
    Hi all
I have lines on the screen...which is an age old problem that can be remedied by watching Youtube videos and getting out the tape.
My issue (after successfully fixing a different sammy tv with a separate tcon board and isolating the side of the panel...):

This tv has an integrated tcon...so it is a bit more confusing when trying to isolate the clocks.
It has a c ribbon and i have taken each end out to see if that will isolate the lines. instead, it makes it much worse ALL over the tv!

So....i don't know what end of the C ribbon to work with...
