got bad reading from diode ds805 read in board .058 in both directions, tried to take it out to read it but broke it, no solder skillz at all lol, also diode ds804 read .344 is that too low?, hard to read numbers on tiny diode , looks like GP v8180 n493 or n498?, does that sound like a familiar diode, I messed up label a bit getting it out, Thanks.

think I forgot a few steps, with mainboard unplugged from ps, tested I think its called the rail, on power supply, have 6.3 on stndby, board says 6.5, the rest the 12's 5's and 13v are 0, thats not good, unless the mainboard needs plugged in to get those volts, and seems like 1 diode in that area reads ol in both directions, Thanks.

1. Downloading boot code
(1) Change the boot code's file name into "boot.bin".
(2) Copy the "boot.bin" into the path "/bordeaux/us" in USB flash driver.
(3) Turn off LCD TV.
(4) Insert the USB flash driver into the service 1 jack of LCD TV.
(5) Turn on LCD TV.
(6) The banner osd "Updating SW..." is displayed.
(7) The banner osd "Completed..." is displayed when the updating is completed.
(8) Turn off and remove the USB flash driver from LCD TV
(9) Check the program version.
2. Downloading application code
(1) Change the application code's file name into "appl.rom".

quick question: could there be a bad IC on power supply, yet still get all the proper voltages at the connectors on power supply, thanks.

Those are not "snap in" caps they are surface mount and they are probably ok and not your problem. Try heating the main board with a hair dryer and see if anything changes.

heated main board, no change, replaced those 2 caps from main, same condition, they mustve been good, x was showing thru, figured they would need replaced sooner or later.

I did notice on the a board the 2 caps, one on each side of IC401 are curious, I can see the x but they don't look broken.

numbers on cap: 81425, 470, 16t, they appear to be snap in, having trouble locating a data sheet, thanks.
