Fuses good, plug in standby 5v good, power on power supplies good, display dimly lit, no response to menu button, looking at the mainboard, read johnboy1313’s post on the mainboard regulator IC4511, measured input pin 1 to ground shorted, now I seek a replacement IC4511. Printed on the case: a stylized capital M logo of Microchip Technology 751 and 563D in a 7 terminal smd case, I have a photo, GordonComment

I believe pin #1 is the output pin (3.3v), pin #7 is the input (5v)Comment

It may not be the IC Pin 1 shorted to ground but something connected on the output tracks.
This looks like the pinouts of the IC even though it could be wired differently on your circuit
The logo is in fact Mitsumi and not Microchip as I first thought.
This looks like the full part number MM1563 563D

We agree, a shorted component on the 3.3v line from IC4511 pin 1. In previous decades I read manufacturer service bulletins and repair history notes, tracked the short lifting leads and cutting traces, typically I would find a shorted IC or rarely a shorted capacitor, anyone have a TNPHO716 schematic and notes on dimly lit display, no menu?Comment

Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

In the Panasonic service manuals, both in the board schematics and in the part listing, the part numbers that are given are Panasonic part numbers instead of the actual part numbers.
This is especially annoying for small SMD components like diodes and transistors when you only have 1-3 digits printed on the component body.
For an example, look at the attached PDF.
Do you have a way to cross reference the Panasonic part number with the actual part number?
