Yes, as indicated in post 8 that the main board is not sending the signal (PS_ON line stuck low) to turn on the power supply.

The readings you provided does not indIcate bad IC.
G2 has to be 10V or less for the MOSFET 2 to turn on, and you did not indicate any inout Voltage feeding S2 pin 1 either.
S1 pin 3 also no Voltage input either.

Is it possible to jumper the pads to see if I can get proper power to the board?

    S2/Pin 1 also had 12, like Pin 2. Pin 3 had nothing. Where can I find a AO4801?

How about pin 1 (Source 2), pin 3 (Source 1)? Those two pins are fed with Voltages which will go out on the Drain pin 5 & 6 for Drain 1, and 7 & 8 for Drain 2.
The Gate pins (pin 2 for G2, pin 4 for G1) Voltage has to be at least 2V less than the Source pin for the MOSFET (P-CH) to turn on.

    A4801: Dual P-CH MOSFETs
    Pin 1 = S2
    Pin 2 = G2
    Pin 3 = S1
    Pin 4 = G1
    Pin 5 = D1
    Pin 6 = D1
    Pin 7 = D2
    Pin 8 = D2

You could try replacing the FET, eBay sells them for $2.

Unfortunately I don't have the service manual

4 Pin Mosfet or the 8 Pin IC you have circled?

I tested the pins on that IC and I can't tell if they're supposed to be but pins 5 and 6 are connected. I can't tell on the PCB if they're supposed to be.

pin 7 and 8 are also connected (i.e. show continuity test on my DMM) but I can clearly see they share trace.

Sometimes when Main Board Silkscreen does not show pinout. Simply go to P.S. connection to main board. P.S. is labeled and trace it to the main board wire by wire. A royal pain but you can see what is supposed to be on that pin

When you do the resistance testing, DO NOT have power applied to the unit, you can also damage the meter if the unit has power.

Tried that and nothing happened, no shorts, as far as I can tell.

The legend follows the pinout. You can confirm this by checking the connector socket. Pin 1 is usually marked with a triangle or circle molded into the connector, and with silkscreen on the component side of the board.

boards are all connected, no power to the TV then use hair dryer (heat gun will be to hot and may melt the plastic) to heat up the whole main board for 2~3 minutes then apply the power to see if it will come on.

Help Needed: Samsung UE55MU8000 Dead - Possible Main Board Issue
    by Asraf Atb
    Hi everyone,

Im looking for some advice regarding my Samsung UE55MU8000 TV with main board model BN94-11606C. The TV suddenly stopped turning on and now shows no signs of life at all not even the standby light at the bottom.

Initially, I suspected an issue with the PSU, so I took it to a repair center. They tested it and confirmed that the PSU works perfectly, even on other TVs. Based on that, I started investigating the main board.

I disconnected the main board from the PSU, and the backlight turned on, which seems to confirm the main board is the issue....

Sceptre U550CV-UMR 4K LED, Bad Caps on Main Power Board?
    by Dani_2024
Hi and thanks in advance for any input you might provide!
I have a Sceptre U550CV-UMRD8POTV83BB 4K LED (this is a dumb tv) that I bought new in August 2021, so It's just completed 3 years.
Main power board model: TP.MS3683.PC821 T-Con board: N4TP546UHDPU2L_BO

Last Sunday I was watching a dvd and fell asleep for about half hour, when I awoke the tv screen was black and couldn't get the dvd menu to show, so I changed the input to antenna and had sound but no picture, turned it off. I then got online and found this great site! ....read many troubleshooting tips and this...

LG 55NANO77SRA TV – Menu scrolling by itself even after removing button board (Main Board EBU66792103)
    by ygorsan
    Hi everyone,

I’m looking for help with a persistent issue on an LG TV model 55NANO77SRA, which uses the main board EBU66792103 (also used in LG UQ80 and NANO75/NANO80 series).

    🧩 Problem Summary:
    • The TV keeps scrolling through the menu or selecting items by itself.
    • I removed the physical button board (the entire panel with power and volume buttons) and also disconnected the flat cable (CN202) from the main board.
    • The remote control is not in use (batteries removed), and the TV still shows the same behavior.

    Samsung UN75RU8000FXZA bad main board?
    by Lee M.
When plugged in it will click and cycle the BL on and off, no pic and does not respond to remote. When I disconnect the cable from the PS board to the main board and then plug it in the BL will come on and stay on. There are only two boards in this set, the LVDS cables from the panel driver boards connect directly to the main board. Since the BL comes on and stays on I'm thinking the PS board is ok and the problem is on the main board. Should I order another main board or do I need to do more testing? thanks, Lee

    Sony xbr-65x900c main board issues?
    by jb_Bak
Hey guys great forum glad to have found it. I bought a Sony XBR 65X900C cheaply because it didn't work. No signs of life at all not even a light/led. All I hear is a brief high voltage sound when I throw the power to it.

Didn't see any obvious signs of damage so right away started checking voltages. This is what I see:
Power Board Connector that goes to Main board
    CN6401
    Pin 01 NC
    Pin 02 NC
    Pin 03 "BL_ON": 0V
    Pin 04 "N/C"
    Pin 05 "STBY 3.3V": 3.5V
    Pin 06 "GND": N/C
    Pin 07 "AC_OFF"...
