    Sony Bravia KDL-40W5500 led flashing 13 times

    Hi

    I understand from reading other forums that this could be down to a faulty CCFL tube.

    Is it possible to purchase replacement tubes?

      Yes, you can buy a new tubes.

                  This "free from a friend who was going to recycle it" SONY BRAVIA XBR-55A8H arrived with the bottom center RED LED repeating a four flash pattern. It was treated with kid gloves and was reported to have "just gone dead" and the OLED panel has no dents in the metal frame or cracks.

                  Thread https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?p=1091829 helped in proceeding as follows:
                  1) Unplugged, then plugged set in while holding the remote VOL- and Power to factory reset.

                  2) Waited 30 seconds, then pressed remote Power button and "Select language"...

                  Hello all!

                  A lightning burned this TV, Sony Bravia KDL-40W2000 that shows the 3-flash error code.
                  I have read old threads here about this issue and I'm writing this just to ask an advice.

                  First I replaced the power supply board (25€) just to discover that the issue remains. Now I have the option to replace the mainboard too (the one with HDMI ports) for another 40€.

                  Considering I'm not a professional technician just an enthusiast, what would you do? Thanx in advance.

                  the charger brick has 19,2-19,3 vcc
                  changed the inverter board same result.

                  Hello all!

                  New member here!

                  I'm trying to see if this can be an easy fix, so far i found the service manual and followed the troubleshooting path a bit.

                  When I power on the TV, i see "SONY" quickly flash but then it goes back to black. The power light flashes white a few seconds and then red for 6 blinks.

                  The troubleshooting path had me check the BL_ERR signal and I have 3V so well above the written 1.9v threshold.

                  Then I verified the Out1 and Out2 voltage and that's where i'm stuck.
