Re: HELP!!!! popping sound coming from speakers
The amplifiers are on this board (there are more than one versions of the board: http://www.shopjimmy.com/catalogsear...anyo+dp42841):

LV4906 is the amplifier:

You should get the data sheet so you can check the voltages.
Did you try using AUDIO line out RCA jacks to see if you also get the popping sound?Last edited by budm; 11-30-2014, 09:50 PM.Never stop learning

by soerenI am facing a strange issue, I don't have any sound over my internal MacBook speakers and also the video won't start. If I change to my head speaker or via HDMI (speaker on my external Display) the sound works over the head speaker or Display and also the video starts (ex. youtube).
All happened after the battery ran out of power overall several days when I was on vacation.
I tried to remove the battery and then reconnected the battery, and then the MacBook Pro 14 2021 won't accept any power from my power socket. Then I removed one speaker, connected again the battery... -

by StrongTesterHello friends, I am having trouble with a hp-ec1001np that detects the headphones or speakers when connected to the jack, but no sound comes out. The normal laptop speakers work fine. Anyone has an idea what it might be? Did a full reinstall of windows, still nothing.05-30-2023, 10:29 AM

by LEECH666Good day ladies and gentleman!
I am currently trying to repair a Grundig Vision 9 37 9880 T USB LCD TV for a friend that has a weird audio problem. Basically everything works fine except for the heavily distorted sound when the Subwoofer module is connected and there is a buzzing sound coming from the PSU PCB.
This seems to be a rather rare TV so there is not much prior on topic help to be found however a service manual is available at the usual sources (Electro Tanya i.e.).
I think the PSU buzzing comes from one of the coils near the bridge rectifier but... -
Object: Onkyo TX-NR828
Problem: Popping noises in the right surround channel every ~5min
Service manual: available
After I was able to bring my beloved Onkyo back to life (total failure of the power amplifiers) and it has now been doing its job for some time without any problems, it is now ailing with a new problem. It still works fully, but after about 5min it "pops" in the right surround speaker for about 0.5 sec very loud (100% volume). I am almost scared to death - sounded like a battery exploding or something. It sounds like something is discharging - a...-
