Any way to bench test an LCD TCON board?

I've got a small Samsung LCD. History unknown. The mainboard appears to work (system powers on, and has sound), but the screen is dark. I'm assuming the inverter is shot, and I think the panel is damaged. Would like to salvage the TCON, but is there any way to know if it's good? Thanks.

OK so I guess you assumed the Inverter is bad because you have BL-ON signal and 24V to the Inverter? You could probably have a good idea of the T-CON's condition by measuring certain voltages on the T-CON board. eg: Vin, Vdd, Vda, Vgh and Vgl. Also, the Gamma 1 to 14 voltages along with some others.

LG OLED77G1PUA - No Video / Audio after a TCON Board change and Software Update
        by Hakuu
        Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

Lg TCon test pins for screen test
        by alltvrepairs
        Hi,
i have a 65 Panasonic TX-65HX710E using vestel 17MB170 main and Lg tcon.

Few drops of water fell probably near COF and have no display. Tried removing tabs but no.part of display present as if tcon fuse open. However 12v is present and tcon can be felt warm enough that supplies are present. Backlight and sound ok.

Anyone knows if this TCon 6870c-0805A has any special test pins for rgb test?

        Appreciate your help....

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
        by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

        Assuming...

Looking for help with a Viewsonic VP230mb where the backlight comes on only momentarily
        by lostone
Hello, I came here after finding some similar questions asked on other monitors and hope someone here can help me get an ancient Viewsonic VP230mp (23" 4:3 LCD) back to working condition.

First a little background, I have a background in computer and electrical engineering, and I'm smart enough to know I know nothing about LCD displays and how they work. For this topic I'm as green as they come.
When the display is turned on the viewsonic logo displays in the uppper left for 2 seconds then the screen goes black, the power LED is green (on) and when a computer is connected...

        by Nicktronic
        Hey!

I've got this power supply board that's had some components replaced and I'd like to confirm all the voltages before I install it.

        This is what I have when I plug in the board on the bench;

        1 - N.C. - 0 VDC
        2 - PWM_DIM4 - 0 VDC
        3 - N.C. - 0 VDC
        4 - PWM_DIM3 - 0 VDC
        5 - GND - 0 VDC
        6 - PWM_DIM2 - 0 VDC
        7 - B13V - 0 VDC
        8 - PWM_DIM1 - 0 VDC
        9 - B13V - 0 VDC
        10 - ECO_ON/OFF - 0 VDC
        11 - Vamp - 0 VDC
        12 - BLU_ON/OFF - 0VDC
        13 - Vamp - 0 VDC
        14 - GND - 0 VDC...
