Vizio E390L Back light turns on and no Picture

I picked up the visio 39 inch for 10 dollars.
When i plug the tv in the hit the power button the back-light comes on and the orange amber turn's white. The screen doesn't turn on at all.

I tested
The voltage from the power supply check out good and fuses on the main board are good. I checked and replaced voltage regulator with new ones on the main board.


I did noticed the cpu is getting hot on the main board and ram. I'm guessing the main board is shot because i don't think it fits the eprom chip.

check the fuse on the T-con, unless this has the T-con built into the TFT driver board then it might have a fuse too. Follow the white flat cable (LVDS cable) from the mainboard to the other end and see whats up on that side.

There is switched MOSFET that supplies the B+ to the panel, this model has integrated T-CON on the main board and in the panel.
Just remember one most important thing is that we do not have the set, the boards in front of us to look at, if you look at your pictures and cannot read or see anything clearly on the board then we cannot do much to help.

OK, Please check the Voltage at the Vin, Vout, and Gate using chassis as GND ref for the meter.
Please report the readings when the TV is plugged in but the power switch is not activated and with power switch activated.
