    Panasonic TX-L42B6B issue with image

Hi all I have just picked up a 42 inch Panasonic LED Tv that has a fault with the image.

When turned on the tv is fine and displays normal.

After roughly 10 minutes the image gets a green tinge to it.

Could this be a bad t-con board?

    Any input would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Dan

Looks like a Gamma failure to me! Pop the back off and snap a photo of the t-con board.

More likely it's a loose LVDS cable or bad main A/V.
Too new for common gamma chip fault (AS15 etc)

I'm leaning towards a bad main board as it comes on fine and then after a few minutes the fault appears

Fiddle with the LVDS cable (between main board and T-con board) and note if the effect comes and goes.

Or, when the panel is cold, with the back off heat up the MB or LVDS cable with a hairdryer and once its warm turn it on and see if that failure happens right away.

I have had the back of the TV and can confirm that pressing on the LVDS cable towards the T-con board connector causes the fault to appear/disappear so it looks to be a bad connection on the LVDS cable.

Thanks so much for the help Tom and Shinju
