I have this tv set and it will randomly turn itself on from standby.
I am looking for the firmware so i can replace the eeprom and see if this removes the issue.
I have searched the web and the forums here but cant seem to find it.
Can anyone offer any advice or know where i can obtain it?

Hi all,
I have a Samsung UE46D6100 that displays a distorted image when first powered on that quickly fades away to a black screen.
Sound remains on and led backlight is lit.
I will attach an image of the tcon board below.
When removing one of the ribbon cables to the tcon card the image will come on fine on one half of the screen and stay on.
But as soon as the other ribbon is connected the image will fade away and stay off.

I found a faulty ceramic capacitor on the one of the boards that the ccfls are connected too. It had burnt out completely and was visibly damaged. Replacing it brought the set back to life.Leave a comment:

I have had the back of the TV and can confirm that pressing on the LVDS cable towards the T-con board connector causes the fault to appear/disappear so it looks to be a bad connection on the LVDS cable.

Panasonic TX-L42B6B issue with image
Hi all I have just picked up a 42 inch Panasonic LED Tv that has a fault with the image.
When turned on the tv is fine and displays normal.
After roughly 10 minutes the image gets a green tinge to it.
Could this be a bad t-con board?
Any input would be appreciated.

Hi all I have a faulty Logik Tv model Number is L32HE13.
Set was powering to a red standby but no further.
PSU tested fine.
I got a set with a smashed screen and it had the same psu but an ever so slightly different main board.
I fitted the main board and the set fires up and works however When turned off (to standby) the screen fades away. Also when first powered on from mains power the backlight lights when in standby.
Does anyone know how to access the service menu on a Logik tv???

Hi there,
I was given a Bush BPDP42HD3a while back and was reading your experience with them.
I had one click of the relay and no picture. I ordered a y buffer and tested it for shorts when it arrived. It was fine so I fitted it.
The tv fired up, but I have a slight issue with the image. Its all ok apart from a patch on the right hand side that has a poor picture quality.
Do you have any ideas what could be causing this?
