    E701i-A3 Assistance please..

    This forum is awesome!!

Does anyone know where I can find a part number or supplier for some replacement LEDs for a 70” Vizio E701i-A3? I managed to pick up three of these TV's over the weekend that came out of a mobile ad truck and 2 of them have bad LEDs, the third has a broken screen. I know it's the LEDs because I did a panel swap with the broken screen and that fixed the problem. I assume that they have a lot of hours on them because of their former use, but they were a deal and if I can get them fixed that would be a major score. I called Vizio, and checked online with Shop Jimmy, VizParts and Ecompass and googled the numbers listed on the LED strips with no success. Please help.

You are positive it is the LED's? or will the screen just not show a picture. The E701i-a3, and e601i-a3 have a lot of problems with their T-Con boards - just wanted to throw that out there.

well you have one set of LED's from the broken screen unit. swap the broken crack screen part for the good screen. In most cases your parts source will be another crack screen Vizio

I am sure it's the LEDs I did swap the one broken screen with a good one. I also pulled the LEDs out, some of them have popped.. I have one of the original 3 working now, but i don't know how long the LEDs will last. The one that i do have working already has a few burned out on the end. Those LEDs are the hardest part to track down..

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
            by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

            Assuming...

Corsair K70 LUX RGB dying LEDs
            by Pipolups
            Hi there !

I'm having an issue for several weeks with my quite old K70 LUX RGB keyboard. I haven't used it for few months, and once I setup up again my desktop computer, I got several dead LEDs on that keyboard. I tried the Corsair troubleshooting thing (disabling options in iCUE, ...) but nothing changed so I conclude that for some reason some LEDs went in retirement...😅
Decision taken to change these LEDs as I have access to desoldering iron and binocular magnifier, I wrote a ticket to tech support, hopping to obtain the LEDs reference and... They refused to tell me 🙄...

            by mrtek
            Hi.

picked up another TV. This time is a Vizio M65-C1. TV does not turn on. I had repaired another 60 inch vizio , Bad main board.
When power button is pressed, the Power led indicator on the bottom right, turns for a few seconds and then it fades away. No backlight or Vizio logo on screen. Removed back cover and repeated test.
This is the TV This TV is a little different from the Samsung I have worked on. Power supply is on the Left side, Main Bd is on the right side, T-CON , not in the picture is on the bottom. I am assuming that the boards in the middle are the LED...

Is it possible bridging tiny broken trace
            by chth96
When I assembled dreamcast I mistakenly fastened long bolt and It resulted in
            cutting tiny trace.
This tiny trace(Total width of white coating is 5.5mm) is between R337,R343 and IC101 and it is covered with white coating in the below screenshot.

Firstly I tried to bridging tiny broken trace with my own eyes...But it is totally impossible..So a week ago, I ordered G1200 Digital Microscope and I magnified this tiny broken trace with it.

But It seems that It is really very tiny trace So I plan to order 0.1mm coper wire from aliexpress in order to bridging...
