Sony KDL-52EX700 amber and green lights blinks

Issue that I am having before this happen was that I had 3 blinks. From the service manual it said it is possible that the BAL board was defective. I replaced the BAL board and now I am having a constant amber (timer) and green lights (power on) blinking at the same time. I posted a video of this happening. I also have the updated firmware on a USB stick and put in the service USB slot on the BAL board, still the same result. Any help would be appreciated.

u have format usb stick ? and then copy pest firmware.

after that power off tv -put usb stick in slot. and power on tv and wait till tv restart?

I formatted the USB stick to FAT32, extracted the file to the USB stick as directed on Sony's webpage. Installed the USB stick while powered off and pressed the power button. I've waited for 10 minutes and it still doing the amber and green light flash. Do I leave it on there longer?

It's took about 45 minutes to complete the firmware.

Sorry to dig up an old thread...

I have the same problem on my KDL-55W800A.

I had the red light blinking three times, after all checks in the service manual, proceeded to replace the BA2S board, now after powering on the TV, the green and amber status LEDs flash on an oscillating basis...

I have downloaded the latest firmware from the Sony website, formatted a USB stick to FAT and copied to the root folder of the USB. The TV has now been on for about an hour, still no progress, just flashing amber, green, amber, green...

When the TV powers up, the white status LED comes on, the panel LED backlight flashes for 1/2 second and then the green/amber starts flashing.

Is there another way to "force" update the firmware on the TV?

Turn tv on without usb, turn on so lights are blinking and then insert usb. Should take about 3-4 minutes.

If still nothing try a different USB stick or downloading software again in case was corrupt.

Will the TV blink in any way during the firmware installation?

As my KDL-60W605B stopped blinking after 3minutes...

As a second question, do I need to start the TV. Is it not supposed to start by itself?
