Hello everyone!
I recently had to replace the SSB in my Philips 65PFL9708S/12.
Fortunately, I managed to find a board with the exact same part numbers:
The TV works fine after the replacement, except for one issue: the “HDMI 5” input no longer appears in the menu.
I could live without it, but on this model HDMI 5 is the only port capable of handling 4K.
Here is what I’ve already checked:
Has anyone experienced the same issue?
The 4K upscaler (Novatek NT68361) is functioning, and Ambilight works too (it’s on the upscaler board), so HDMI5 should be operational.
With the previous SSB, HDMI5 worked normally.
The only difference I noticed is that new SSB was from 65pfl9708s/60(according to Type in SAM) but I have 65pfl9807s/12.

Here is what I’ve already checked:
- Updated to the latest firmware (173.67)
- Double-checked both rows of Option Codes — they match the original board:
- 33347 04648 52943 00707
- 63408 65202 24636 00000
- Changed Display Type to 432 using the remote
- Entered all 12NC codes in the SAM menu
