Well wait. If you can get it for cheap/free get it for parts. These are common panels and parts are not cheap to buy if you come across one that has a bad not repairable PCB in it.
Just my 2 cents.Comment

Re: Badcaps - what do you think - un46b6000vf samsung
I wish I could get it for free. I talked this guy down from $250 (INSANE) to $50 but if it has a bad panel then I don't think I could do $50 for it because the parts aren't too bad (compared to some others Ive bought)Comment

Re: Badcaps - what do you think - un46b6000vf samsung
This one MAY be a bad main board as well - I had a similar (not exactly the same) issue on a C series TV which turned out to be a faulty main board:

Good luck,

^ I think your display error is different, did your lines bleed down or were they solid as soon as you turned on the Panel?
I had this Panel in the 7000 series and mine did exactly what the op's panel is doing

Yours looks like the one I have here now its a 55C650 that fell off a wall mount and ripped the Coaxial input right off the board and damaged the LVDS connector output on the main board.
When I fired this one up it worked fine but had every other pixel rainbow line and after 5-10 min of use it would go away I thought it was a bad panel and was about to toss it / part it when I discovered the LVDS connector being loose. I applied pressure while it was on and the lines went and came when I released pressure.
Trying to find a mainboard for it now but there is nothing for sale for it anywhere!Comment

He was extremely delusional, I think ill tell him that if he will come down to $20 Ill come pick it up tonight and check it out. But its really difficult for me to sink anymore into it. So would you pick it up for $20 as a low quantity repair person?Comment

I would take it for 20.00. If the mainboard tests out good that's an easy 90-100.Comment

Re: Badcaps - what do you think - un46b6000vf samsung
I am 90% certain its a bad panel, if you get it break it down to the tab bonds and apply pressure to the TFT board or gently to the IC bonded inside the ribbon cables and see if it changes. (There is quite a few tab bonded ribbon cables that are fused to the glass/TFT buffer board)
Use a piece of rubber or something nonconductive, the one I had I ended up parting it out to a local who needed parts for his with a good panel.Last edited by Shinju; 09-12-2014, 12:09 PM.Comment

Oh okay, I know what youre talking about now, I just had an e601i-a3 that had a vertical blue thin line on it that I tried that with. BTW if anyone needs parts to e601i-a3 I have 2 working main boards, 2 working t cons, and a power supply + remote control for it haha.Comment

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....-

by KjellAfter installing Linux, I can no longer enter the BIOS of my Samsung Series 9 (NP900X3C) laptop. When pressing [F2] during boot I simply get a black screen. Same thing when pressing [F10] and choosing "Setup" from the "App Menu" tab. Apparently this is a relatively common issue with Samsung laptops of that generation, but unfortunately i haven't been able to resolve the issue (yet).
Things i've tried so far; reinstalled Windows 10, checked for redundant boot entries, tried to factory reset using the emergency keyhole, attempted to clear the NVRAM by physically...08-01-2025, 09:15 AM -

- Prior owner tried a replacement main board. No difference.
- Samsung 2x red blinking standby LED = panel fault
- Jumpered FB_TRDY_1 (pin 1 CN1300 left. main tcon->left side buffer boards) and FB_TRDY_3 (pin 95 CN1301 right. main tcon->right side buffer boards) This allows testing individual T-Con (on main board) connection to panel on this Samsung. Found fault on left side (viewing from rear of TV)
- Each side has 2 buffer boards, disconnected left side flex between 2 buffer boards. Fault is on the left most board.
- Tape masking eventually isolated to CN1300 pin 15 (CKV4_GOA) Display

by Francisco.sHi, need bios for Samsung Galaxy Book NP750XED-KC4ES.
This board mounts a intel alder lake, and seems that the bios is corrupted.
