    Sceptre X46BV-1080P picture issue

My 5 year old TV has been having picture issues in which primarily one side becomes fairly dark while the other side is fine. It's kind of intermittent, and can almost always be fixed by tapping on the back of the TV. Two picture photos attached, first one shows left side dark while right side is ok. Second one shows a little different issue where there seems to be horizontal bars of differing darkness. This is less frequent but does show up from time to time, but in either case tapping takes care of the problem.

So far all I've done is open up and inspect the main control board and power supply board for deformed caps. PS board looked fine however 3 or 4 of the 470uF 16V caps on the control board were domed and so I replaced them (I believe there's more under the isolation hut however I wasn't able to unsolder it with my pencil iron). Anyway, before doing any kind of wholesale cap replacement I wanted to see if I was even looking in the right place since I wouldn't initially think tapping on the TV would fix a bad cap (though I suppose it's possible), but rather a poor cable connection or bad solder joint somewhere. I also see that a lot of picture issues trace back to either the TCON board or maybe backlight inverters, so I'm looking for advice on where I might want to focus my search. BTW, tried to remove the cover to the TCON board but removing the 5 screws wasn't enough, seemed like the cover was stuck to something so I left it alone not wanting to break something, so is there any trick to getting that off? Also, I did remove the covers to the inverters on the sides and didn't see anything obvious with them. Let me know if anyone has any ideas, thanks!

Found a good video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYHPKxijz1A

This is very probably the issue I have, bad connection of flex cables. Thanks Youtube!
