    Panasonic VSUS low and trim pot maxed out.

    Hi,

    I have a tv where VSUS has to be 189V +or- 2V. The highest I can get it is 181v. I turned the trim pot to get the voltage up but it slowly drops again.
    What is the problem? Leaky caps or something?
    Also two 450v 1uF film caps are noisey occasionally in the power supply. I replaced them but they still hiss. They can be located on page 78 of the service manual in the link below. They are c611 and c610.
    Any help would be appreciated.

      Most sets have some noise but it should not be excessive. As far as the lower voltage it could be a heavy load or as simple as a bad trim pot. With power off and unplugged you can measure the trimpot total resistance and the resistance of the wiper. Have you tried cleaning it with cleaner and sevral passes on the adjust it cw and ccw then apply power and readjust.

          Does vsus rise if you unplug the SC and SS boards?

              With the tv unplugged during the night, VSUS with both sc and ss boards disconnected was 200v.
              With boards connected it was 200v. After leaving the tv running for 15minutes, VSUS dropped to 180v. With both sc and ss disconnected, VSUS still at 180v.
              With the trim pot fully cw it is 71kohms, fully ccw is 5ohms. Didn't clean it but turned it cw and ccw multiple times. Part states that it is a 50kohm trim pot. Would increaseing it to 100kohm be wise?

                  Hi,
                  This is my first post in attempting to keep my beloved 2013 Panasonic plasma tv going.
                  About 6 weeks ago the tv was turned on but then immediately shut off. There was no recent power surge or popping noise or any other symptom.
                  I checked all of the obvious things and decided to try a replacement power supply board (PSS in Panasonic lingo).
                  I would like to check the Vsus but this is one of the final models and at that point Panasonic did not indicate the Vsus and Vad voltages inside the chassis. It looks like they were discouraging people from making adjustments....

                  I picked up a Panasonic NH-P70G2, though it would apply to the NH-P80G2, NH-P70G1 and NH-P80G1 models as well, as maybe some other models. This one was coming up with a H86 error. After lots of testing and googling it was an error with one of the thermistors in the condenser area.
                  The attached French service manuals is incorrect, TH11 is gray and is a 95k thermistor and TH12 is black and is a 35k thermistor.
                  In my case TH12 was bad. I was able to get a 35k thermistor on AliExpress. It's 6mm in diameter.
                  Unfortunately the whole machine has to come apart to fix it.

                  Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
                  Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

                  Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 mk1 BIOS repair

                  Good day,

                  I have tried to remove BIOS supervisor password from Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 mk1. Model number CF-33AENABTG, unfortunately I don't have any other info.

                  I read the BIOS using afuwin, edited it and tried to flash new edited BIOS using afuwin. Unsuccessfully. Afuwin showed "Error: Problem erasing flash." starting with 0x00040000 and stoped. Then I tried many other options to flash BIOS from Windows without any luck. Finally i rebooted the device - and no post. Afterwards I have read the corrupted bios chip (MX25L12873F) using EZP2010 programmer....
