Philips 50PUS8555/12 Power supply fault

Hi,

715ga018-p01-006-003s
Am trying to find a pdf .

i have no secondary output voltage. So far done the obvious checked supply on primary caps 320v, supply on power supply ic found 22v and cannot see any burnt components.
tried with meter most components like resistors diodes etc.
in secondary there are no shorts either.
This was struck by a lightning and could see a burn under the air gap capacitor.

Any clues welcome.

check both power mosfets near the bigger transformer

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

Mid 2014 A1398 MacBookPro,Is it feasible to remove the battery from the MBP and connect it to an external power supply?

I have a 15 - inch Retina MacBook Pro from the mid - 2014 model. Here is the link: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...light=820-3662 . The battery broke some time ago. After I removed the battery and plugged in the original power adapter, the MBP could boot up normally. However, when I checked with IntelPowerGadget, I found that the CPU speed was limited to 0.8 GHz, and it ran very slowly. Later, I found a solution on GitHub. There is an open - source project called cputune that can set the CPU running speed. So I can now run the MBP at full speed. But another problem...

Power supply Manson NTP-5561 (5661) LCD controller dead - PIC18F87K90 HEX dump required

Hello!

i got a damaged Manson NTP-5561 (60V, 1,6A DC output) and and the main issue is that the controler IC for the LCD display has a short. The controler IC PIC18F87K90 is mounted on the back of the back of the LCD. Vss-Vdd = 3 Ohm. The 5V and 3,3V power line was killed as well, but that is not a problem. A new LDO 3,3V and 5V 7805 is already ordered.
Replacing the PIC18F87K90 is necessary but that makes no sense without having the HEX dump of the new controler.

Does anybody have such a power supply and could do a HEX dump of the Flash and EEPROM memory?

Hi, Can we use SMPS Bench Power Supply for Laptop troubleshooting?

Hi all, I just need to know that, can i use SMPS type power supply to test and short circuit detection on a laptop motherboard?
I saw 95% of repair guys are using only Linear bench power supply. linear bench power supply is pricy, thats why i planned to get one SMPS supply.

i know that in linear power supply the noise will be very low comparing to SMPS supply....

555 based power supply getting too hot

Good day.
I have an AC/DC -> DC PWM (rectifier + 555 buck converter) power supply with MDF11n60, which is getting very hot.
The input is AC from a transformer and the output powers a 24v dc fan. The power supply is used to regulate the speed of the fan.
After several runs on the bench power supply I noticed that the mosfet is reaching 80+C*. The mosfet reads fine on component tester, the thermal paste is changed, the fan is cleaned and with freshly oiled bearings.
When powered directly from the bench psu, the fan takes ~0.7A on 12V. The current consumption is similar...
