Philips 50PFP5332D/37 Plasma no picture VS/VA shutdown

GOt this TV, model Philips 50PFP5332D/37, powered on screen flashing less than a second then black. The front led green constantly. Can turn off when press the power button.
Took out the cover, found many bad caps on power supply board and one on the x-main. Replace all those bad caps but no change.
Measure the voltage, the VS and VA present at right voltage at the moment when power on, but dropped to zero after a second, the other voltages are all good and constant. The logic board led flasing slow as normal.
    What I tried : Unplug the y-main and/or x-main, same problem.
At this point not sure if power board or other boards issue. The power board part number is PS-507-PHN, panel is Samsung S50hw-YD07.
The big cap on the top right looks ugly but is a working cap from other tv board, sure it's good.
So the problem is why / what cause the vs/va dropped ?

How many blinks do you count on the small "daughterboard" located on the power supply board? When an issue is detected, the power supply will shut down and an error code will blink, then pause, then blink again... count the number of repetitive blinks between the longer pause and then compare to the table printed on the main power supply circuit board... For example, 2 blinks indicates a problem with voltage Vs - either too low, or too high...

Unspun01: Thanks for your reply and suggestion.
I already found the problem, it was the y-sustain board, I replaced it and problem resolved.

I have a similar problem. The daughter bd on the PS blinks 8 times. printed on the Bd shows the code indicates Ve/ Any hints?

Have you tested any voltages ?

Philips 58PUS7805/12 showed no picture; after T-Con replacement, shows halo
            by Rauni
Hello, this is my first post on this forum, and my first attempted to repair a TV.

My Philips 58PUS7805/12 stopped working recently. It is not that old, about 5 years. We were on a trip for a few days and when we came back, it had stopped working out of a blue (Perhaps our house was hit by a lightning strike? Don't know.)

Read from a guide that I should test if the screen shows picture with one of the T-Con cables disconnected. Did that, it showed perfect picture (first on left, later on right side).

Read also that we should test what happens if we...

Philips 243v5lhsb00 Monitor Picture too bright
            by Schwoin
            Hey everyone,

the picture on my philips monitor looks way too bright so that black appears grey and colors also seem too bright.

While i tried to tilt the screen a little bit while it was displaying a picture, i´ve noticed, that there appeared some purple pixels. In the following picture
you can see them on the top half of the photo.

At a certain point during the tilting, the picture looked normal again but as soon as i laid it back down, the purple pixels were gone and the picture was bright again.

Hitachi 55HDS69 55" Plasma TV - No Picture But Sound
            by KYBOSH
Picked up a bahemoth plasma TV not too long ago and just now getting around to looking at it.
No picture but you hear the TV static (white noise) playing loud and clear.
The back was already taken off (and no screws were provided) as the previous owner had already taken a look.
But it seems they didn't get too far and just left it.

When I first took a look I was amazed at how pristine the inside looked.
Its as if the TV had been in a time capsule.
Caps looked like they were just pulled off the self.
Copper coils had no sign of corrosion on...

            Philips 37pfl560: Yellow picture
            by madyoyo
            HI.

I have a weird problem with an old Philips 37pfl560 TV i put out of storage: the picture have a noticeable yellow hue, and its not caused by the settings (did a factory reset). I've never seen this before. I will try to get a photo with a real camera, with my phone its hard to see because of automatic white balance, but in real live the whites are really yellow.

Anyone have an idea of what can cause this? Can CCFL tubes get "warmer" with time? This tv have several analog inputs,so its nice for retrogaming....

Trying to Save - LG 60PH6700 60-inch plasma HDTV - Powers ON but no picture
            by KYBOSH
Saved this beast from the landfill this weekend.
            Manfactured July 2013 in Mexico.

I love working on plasma TVs.
Its been a while but I was lucky enough to find 2 this week.

The TV powers on and stays on but no picture. Havent checked for sound yet.
No bulging caps although the insides are pretty dusty and the boards are discolored from many years of high heat.
            Will start troubleshooting tonight.
