I have this Sony Bravia that is dead in the water. No standby and no voltage readings on connector. I do hear a very faint buzz sound when the mainboard is connected to the PS but when disconnected, it's gone.
I tested the AC coming in and the 4 caps(450v per) and get 172 at each one. No Difference when pushing the ON/OFF button...
I figured with the way this one was setup, I can get the backlights to turn on by disconnecting the main to see if it's a main or PS issue but no luck. It looks like the backlights are powered by the LED driver board which runs directly to the PS.
Am I correct in assuming it's a PS issue? Will a bad main also cause no standby LED? I've been reading mixed things on no standby 3.3/5 and still coming out to be a bad main as to a bad PS...
