Re: sanyo dp55360 LED tv restarts
Found fault in mainboard. Replaced with a used one...Worked great...For about 6-7 days. Now the tv shows no power. From reading, It seems the common no power issues with the main board are in the audio circuit, IC1670. I'm going to buy this v5806 IC module, http://www.ebay.com/itm/1x-LV58063MC-AH-LV58063-58063-LV5806-V58063-V5806-switching-regulator-USA-SELLER-/322054237729?hash=item4afbedae21:g:CzAAAOSwEeFVJadA
Anyone repair either no power issue or random restart every hour by replacing this IC?Re: sanyo dp55360 LED tv...

sanyo dp55360 LED tv restarts
Hi, I have an LED tv that is restarting itself every 1.5 hours it seems like. I'm leaning toward a mainboard fault on this? Doesn't seem like the psu would be at fault since it stays working for so long and starts right back up, it doesn' tpower off, it restarts itself.

Substitute Replacement for Vizio VT470M & VA320M
I have a VT470M that I tested it down to the mainboard. Has the I believe EEPROM issue where it just lags at the initial vizio logo on the screen but doesn't finish booting. Powers on/off fine but just hangs like a PC hangs on Windows logo.
So this is the model on the board. CBPF9D1KZ3 715G3473-2
I can't find a replacement board but found a exchange service on Ebay.

Re: KDL-46EX621---No Power/No Standby---Bad PS?
So, after getting the replacement board in(found for 98 shipped!) popped it in and got some signs of life. After messing with it for a few and wondering why it wouldn't turn on(standby flashed 5), I took apart the Tcon cover and noticed the flex cables were disconnected from someone tinkering with it before me.
Got that situated and had the amber/green flashing lights. Downloaded the software update, popped it on the usb and it started right up to the software update screen.
Mainboard fixed the issue I was...

Re: Samsung UN46C6300SFXZA lines on screen
Keep in mind if you do a Reflow on BGA, you can make it worse if you don't use TC's(thermocouples) to keep track of your temps. Leaded solder melts at 217c and lead free around 180c You can also burn/popcorn a chip if too hot and bridge solder spheres. If you have a graphics BGA related issue, it's best to do it right, heatgun is just a trick but you can actually repair the cracked whiskers if you do it right.

Re: KDL-46EX621---No Power/No Standby---Bad PS?
I have a quick question. I have this Vizio where half screen would go black, hit the top corner and it'll fix itself. Took it apart and I replaced the inverter board because a solder pad bridged with a pad on the component next to it and it was obvious this was the issue cause it was the top of the inverter, exactly where you would hit the side to get it to work. But now it's doing it again and slowly getting worse.
Could it be LCD or inverter(got it used from Ebay) I'll try and get model # later and pix of it but hoping...

Re: KDL-46EX621---No Power/No Standby---Bad PS?
I'm guessing that's the only issue but we shall see. Since it was a 4 blink code and that is a mainboard issue as well and now the flow chart is telling me mainboard issue, it probably finally just gave out which is why it won't power on now.
Seems the last time I thought PS and got the part, it was mainboard. I've only had PS issues when there was a short but I know that's not always the case but lesson learned I guess.

I cancelled the power supply shipment and waiting for the refund to order a Mainboard for the TV. Anyone else see any other issues that I'm not seeing?

Re: KDL-46EX621---No Power/No Standby---Bad PS?
Okay I got it. I checked the cn6001 on the Mainboard and on pin 10 I got 3.3v By going by the chart, it's saying replace the Mainboard? I just bought a power supply on Ebay earlier today but was second guessing myself. Guess I should have came on here yesterday. Luckily, it's not shipped yet!
Also, I recall the guy I got it from saying it flashed 4 times(Balancer error) and when I hooked it up the other day, I got nothing, no standby. After reading some more on it, I guess Balancer error leads to Mainboard as well and...Last edited by ALR; 07-08-2014, 11:23 PM.

Re: KDL-46EX621---No Power/No Standby---Bad PS?
When the main is plugged in, I get 171.3 on each cap and when I unplug, I get 172.1 on each one. No difference with T CON disconnected.

Re: KDL-46EX621---No Power/No Standby---Bad PS?
Sure, let me get the iPad out again. I didn't get any readings on standby at all(with connected and not connected on backside of PS), no voltage anywhere but the caps.

KDL-46EX621---No Power/No Standby---Bad PS?
I have this Sony Bravia that is dead in the water. No standby and no voltage readings on connector. I do hear a very faint buzz sound when the mainboard is connected to the PS but when disconnected, it's gone.
I tested the AC coming in and the 4 caps(450v per) and get 172 at each one. No Difference when pushing the ON/OFF button...
I figured with the way this one was setup, I can get the backlights to turn on by disconnecting the main to see if it's a main or PS issue but no luck. It looks like the backlights are powered by the LED driver board which runs directly to...Last edited by ALR; 07-08-2014, 09:25 PM.
