Samsung UE40C6510 No AV / HDMI Signal

    Hi All,

Some of you may remember i recently repaired a TV with a faulty main board wherein one of the BGA chips needed to be reflowed due to colored lines on the screen: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=37133.

After the repair the TV worked perfectly for about 2 months but over time i noticed that the AV signal would occasionally cut out completely and i would have to turn the set off and on again and it would usually come back. (Sometimes it would take a few attempts).

Recently the AV signal went completely and for the last week no matter what i try; i have not managed to get it back again... And add to the fun... All of the 4 HDMI ports have stopped working too (The TV and the PC connected can detect something is connected but the TV gives the standard "No Signal" dialogue box...)

I have tried factory resetting a few times through the service menu with no luck and have left it unplugged for a few days at a time but still no joy!

The TV turns on perfectly, sound is fine and even works through the network (I can stream things through the network just fine...) but neither the HDMI or AV inputs seem to work anymore.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated!

    Regards,
    Demon

      Samsung UE65MU7003U / BN41-02568B - HDMI No Signal
      by natiz
Following a power surge, the HDMI ports on a UE65MU7003U no longer work, no matter the port or the source - it shows No Signal.
The other functions work well (eg Netflix app, etc.), its just the HDMI ports.

Is the BN41-02568B board salvageable? Any leads before I open the heatsink cover? board replacement?...

PS4 fat has inconsistent signal after HDMI replacement
      by supravit2000
      Hi, guys!

I am not a professional, all I can do is solder stuff on the boards, so I would really appreciate it if someone with knowledge shares his experience/thoughts on a problem I have with a PS4 console.

My friend gave me an original fat PS4, board model SAB-001, with WLOD, that has been previously opened. I changed the HDMI port, couple of pads on the board were ripped, which I connected to the corresponding caps/resistors? Just did so as in a shown diagram (one of the ground pads I ripped off and left it not connected). However, there was still no signal, so...

Samsung s21 sim recognized but no signal
      by Ellos
      Hi everyone,

I'm just starting out with smartphone repairs and picked up a Samsung S21 to work on. Everything functions perfectly except there's absolutely no cellular signal. The SIM card is recognized, WiFi works fine, but zero network signal.

I've tested my SIM in another phone and it works perfectly with good signal, so it's definitely the phone.

From what I've read online, this issue is usually caused by the network chip needing to be desoldered and reballed since one of the solder balls might be cracked.

I think I've located the SOC that...

when I connect, the antenna or hdmi signal however, when it goes to show an image, the image appears momentarily and then restarts appears the logo and the same again.the lights of standby blinking continously

HDMI Inputs Have No Signal - Samsung UN65MU6290
      by dumpstertv
Hi all, I have a Samsung UN65MU6290 TV, and it works fine using its internal smart TV functions but I'm unable to get signal from any of the HDMI inputs. The optical audio out works, and there's one other component jack but I don't have the cables to test that. Checking the TV's diagnostics, the "HDMI SW IC" says "NG," so I assume the main board either needs to be repaired or replaced.

I saw some mail-in repair services, which I'm considering, but my main question is, if I choose to go the replacement route, do I need *exactly* the same board? There are a lot...
