Sceptre x46bv bright white screen. main or t-con?

I have a Sceptre x46bv when it is turned on the only thing I get is a bright white screen. Nothing else happens, menu, channel volume nothing changes.. I looked for bad caps and fuses on all the boards but the t-con board. I will double check the fuses.
I'm thinking a bad main. But there is a pc board between the main and t-con. Plus I have searched problems about this tv and alot ppl have had problems with the t-con board. But not really what the problem I'm having. When on the pc board chips are getting warm which is a good sign.

Just need a little opinion.

Do you get 12VDC at both ends of the SMD fuse on the T-CON board? Pictures of the back of the TV to show how all the boards are connected and the pictures of the boards will help.

Yes I get 11.6vdc from the only fuse I can find on the t-con board (F101). I have it on for about 15 minutes and all the main chips are warm.
I'm trying to get pictures of the boards. Will post soon.

It is possible although rare for a complete bright white screen to be an AS15-F IC fault. Picture of the T-con board?

Ok I was just taking a picture of the bright screen when I noticed NO SIGNAL moving on the screen very very faintly. So I tried the volume samething very faintly... So im guessing it isn't the main board.
I would try to take a picture of the NO SIGNAL but it was very hard for me to see it. And I have glasses on...LOL

But here is the picture of the screen, SEE how bright that is. It is bright then the picture but my phone didn't take it that bright. NO the orange in the middle of the screen is from my phone. NOT THE TV.

That's sounding more like a gamma fault. Bottom rt hand corner of board just above the ribbon connector there are 12 points marked vgama1 thru vgama12. Using your multimeter yeast the voltage on each point and return back with numbered results.

Ahh, AUOPTO with AS15 GAMMA IC, we are seeing a lot lately.

The IC chip that is right above it AS15- G is it different then the AS15-F IC chip? If that is even the problem.

Hmm, the numbers do not look as bad as I expected.
Plug the numbers into Tom's Gamma spread sheet and see what Tom thinks.

I'm having a very similar problem. Picture is all washed out. I'll have to check voltages when I get home and plug them into Tom's gamma spreadsheet. I can get better pictures too if needed. Oh and the horizontal bars only show up on camera, I'm not seeing them with the naked eye.

Here's we go. It fails according to the spreadsheet. How certain is it? Is this something I can repair at the board level or is it better to just buy a new t-con?

That looks bad.
AUOPTO T-CON, look at U21 for the GAMMA IC Vref.

I'm not sure how to make sense of it as the pin labels don't match up with what's in the table.

I'm debating whether this is worth further troubleshooting/repair or if I should purchase a t-con board. I'm not sure what the GAMMA IC Vref is. Can anyone provide some insight?
