    LVDS troubleshooting

Just a question here. How do you troubleshoot a potential LVDS problem?

An oscilloscope and a differential probe with a bandwidth high enough cost an arm and a leg. I doubt that every repair shop owns that. Not mentioning DIYers...

For 4K V-by-One requires even higher end equipment.

So how do you troubleshoot that?

There is a 7th generation TV160 tester for this.

Ok, good solution to test the main board.

But how to test between the T-CON board and the panel, or between the main board and the panel when the T-CON board is integrated with the main board?

Sadly, I think the only thing currently capable of decoding the LVDS signal is the dedicated LCD panel designed for that particular TV

You don't need a differential probe to test the LVDS. Done so many times without it. Depending on the TVs age, you may need a heftier oscilloscope to see anything.
