    Sharp LC32GD4U - Multiple logic/t-con issues

Recently got this set for $15.

When plugged in, the power light turns red as normal,

and when powered on, the backlight immediately turns on, as does the blue power LED, but there's no other indication of startup; the input indicator sometimes shows up, but sometimes it doesn't.

Elements of the UI seem to function; inputs can be selected and the volume can be adjusted. (I don't have the remote, so that's all I can test.)

However, the TV seems to crash at 10-15 second intervals; certain actions, such as selecting the digital cable input or switching inputs frequently will cause it to hang. A single clicking sound can be heard near the TV's power switch at the top right. After this first crash, the TV becomes extremely finicky; sometimes, pressing the power button only causes the backlight to turn off for a split second; other times, it causes the backlight and power LED to shut off altogether. These clicks are heard at random intervals and seem to coincide with the crashes.

When it has functioned, I've tried using the composite and HDMI ports. The TV recognizes when the input is available and when the output device is turned on, but it either displays a garbled mess (pic below) or an "incompatible video signal" error message.
The AV composite signal I got was just a handful of green lines near the top of the screen. After these first signals, I can't get any picture at all until I've unplugged the TV and let it sit for a while; then, it's the same result.

I'm guessing its logic board is toast. I'm going to take the TV apart tomorrow and take a look at the main board; from what I could see through the ports, it's incredibly dusty.

What do you all think? Is this likely the issue, or is there something else at play? I'd really love to get this TV fixed - I've been trying to build a mid-2000's setup and this is the perfect model for me.

Went ahead and dismantled it today, got down to the main board and couldn't see any visual issues. Caps all look perfect, as does each PCB. Cleaned everything off

Does anyone see anything I'm missing?
