LCD TV needs to warmup B4 picture shows

I have a Samsung LN-T4069 TV. When I first turn the TV on in the morning, I have sound and backlight (whitish, grayish light) but no picture. If I leave it on for 2-3 minutes, turn it off and then on again, the picture will then show up.

I thought it was a capacitor issue (saw 2 bad caps) got a cap replacement kit from LCDAlternatives (those guys ROCK!) - swapped out all the caps, but the problem remains……

So now what? What could be causing this? I did not replace the really big capacitor in the middle - that was not in the kit - could that bad boy be the problem?

Thank you one and all. As a woman attempting her first capacitor soldering activities, my friends think I am crazy, but I am really enjoying this - just wish I could fix the problem!

I dunno. I recommend to only get caps from badcaps.net.

It sounds like the problem may be in the T-CON board. You can unplug the TV, then heat up the T-CON board with hairdryer for about a minute, then plug the TV in and turn on to see if it is OK.
"LCDAlternatives" he is good, he is a friend of mine, and I help him out choosing good caps for the kits.
BTW, you should post this in the TV section instead so you will get more help.
