    Issue with Sharp LC-47SB57UT

    Hello,
I bought Sharp LC-47SB57UT 6 years ago. I had to have a vhf antenna to pick up one local station(koco channel 5 OKC). It has worked great up until a week ago. Sometimes I couldn't get channel 5, now I can't receive it at all. I can hook up a digital convertor box I have from another tv and can receive channel 5.
I think the antenna and cable is ok. I doubt that this would be the tuner board or possibly something else.

Any ideas where I should start?

    Issue with Sharp LC-42SB45U
    by claytongarcia
    Hello everyone,

I recently got a model Sharp TV, and I've noticed that the green power LED is flashing without any specific pattern. Additionally, there appears to be no voltage coming from the power board. I haven't observed any leaking or bulging capacitors, although the top of the larger capacitor doesn't seem to be perfectly flush with the jacket—if that makes sense.

Has anyone dealt with this issue before?

Reverse engineering of 18650 4-channel tester
    by spleenharvester
    Hi friends

I have reverse engineered this tester, schematic is attached and is complete except for capacitor values. These testers annoyingly have no model number but they are the ones you find on the first page of just about any website if you type in "18650 4-channel tester". There is also a 2-channel variant and a newer 8-channel variant. They are very cheap (about £15) and can measure voltage, current, internal resistance and capacity. They have a multicolour display for all these statistics. They also have terminal blocks so that if you want to use a breakout board...

MacBook Air A2337 (820-02016) USB-C Port Issue – Only Works in One Orientation (CC Line Problem?)
    by rounin
    Hi everyone,

I'm working on a MacBook Air 2020 (A2337, board 820-02016) and running into a strange USB-C issue. I've gone through quite a bit of testing and part replacement, but I'm stuck — hoping someone here can shed some light.

    🛠 Original Issue
    The machine initially wouldn't negotiate 20V over USB-C — stuck at 5V.
Diagnosis showed PP1V5_UPC0_LDO_CORE shorted to ground.

I replaced U3100 (UF400) using a donor board (A2179), and the machine powers on fine now.

Three 820-01700 32GB Logic Boards Same Issue: Won't Wake From Hibernate
    by ugamazing
I have three identical-spec 820-01700 boards (2.6/32/512), and ALL THREE boards came to us with the same fault, from different sources: The boards don't wake from hibernation with the keyboard or lid, they ONLY wake when you press the power button. I understand this is a very minor issue, but the boards must be fixed!

We will of course begin with the obvious (checking lid signals), but I couldn't help but notice these three boards were all 32GB variants. Has anyone noticed an issue relating to these 32GB boards in particular? I of course don't think it's a RAM issue, but it's bizarre...

American Audio VLP1500 Distorting on one channel
    by dicky96
Hi guys I have a VLP1500 amplifier here - one channels works fine and the other channel distorts even at low volume settings

Protection and Clip LED are off

There is something wrong with the BIAS voltages around T16 and T18 (in particular) on the bad channel

I tested all diodes and transistors in this area in circuit with diode mode - both channels seem identical. Same in resistance mode across all the resistors here.

The output DC voltages on pin1 and pin8 of the 5532D dual op amp at the input of each amplifier module are the same, and the audio...
