Nice scope! Y'know, it has a USB port, for exporting an image, it's a lot easier.
Y-main looks OK.
X-main waveform, see picture.
Yes, 5V standby should always be present.

That's more or less correct for X-main waveform. Can you try turning off the dual-timebase zoom (zoom factor should be off) and use a timebase of 10us/div?

I can't find fault with either of those waveforms.
Does Ve of 88V match the rating printed on the panel? What happens when you increase it? I have to say, 88V is quite low, a modern panel is closer to 130~150V, though it is one of the most variable voltages for a plasma.

88V is the correct spec for this panel, its also the same spec for the PN50B450 model I worked on.
This is starting to look like the same problem I was going through, all the voltages are on the correct spec too.
The Y-main reading looks OK. I'm at a loss to explain the poor image - everything is working right. Any change in image noticed when you adjust the Yrr or Yfr on the Y-main? You should also see a change in the Y-main waveform.

Only suggestion I've got left is a bad control board.

I never thought of it before, but how sure are you the X-main is connected properly to the panel? Are all ribbons installed? Is the connector well seated, no cracked solder joints etc,?

I will compare x- main I ordered and the replacement. Maybe the one I repaired damaged control board I ordered as replacement. What bugs me is there are 4 RJH3044 gets and 2 Fairchild fets and Fairchild fets are supposed to be replacement for RJH3044. I installed Fairchild so ended up with 6 same Fairchild parts. If they are replacement why would every x and y main had both of them? I guess something is different.
X main is connected properly. I removed few times and reconnected. I don't see nothing wrong with cable or connection. There is a way to check main and logic board pattern in service mode also. I just need to get remote for Samsung
