Hey can anyone tell me how I can check to see if my strw6765 MOSFET is good I have it out of the board cause my bad solder job the solder melted and joined two pins together so it poped. I am pretty sure it's bad but before I order one I wanna make sure. Plus I took it out to re solder it and fix it the proper and clean way.

Thats an IC, hard to test, but check between pins 1 and 3 with an ohm meter, if its shorted the ic is bad.

If you shorted two pins with solder and powered it on and it went up in smoke then it's bad for sure."Tantalum for the brave, Solid Aluminium for the wise, Wet Electrolytic for the adventurous"

Yea I think it was on the 6765. Cause it looked like they were touching but I'm not sure. I guess I can start with that one and go from there.Comment

This is a guide that I am writing for helping others to replace their MEC1503 EC chip if it breaks (or to get around an inconvenient prompt to the BIOS). You MUST have experience and tools to do precision micro-soldering, BGA reballing, trace repair, and general laptop repair skills.

Hi, I have a Denon AVR-X3600H I'm trying to repair. I have no electronics repair experience but I have a multimeter, service manual and a will to fix it (https://device.report/m/d5de8c00e617...f63147aba9.pdf)
Everything seems to work except for no sound even through the pre outs. However I will get sound using Zone 2 pre outs.
Only digital symptom I can tell is it will soft lock when in the Speakers/Test Tone menu and be unable to adjust +/- db during the test tone.

My Oled Tv is 55inch tv, 3 days ago I notice that middle of the screen is getting warmer and on picture I have ghosting, missing red color. Color red was still displaying, but it was not so strong as corners of the screen and watching some movies makes me angry.
Then I get an idea to take it apart and clean boards from dust.
In side of Tv was not so bad, I take compressed air in can, and gently blow up.
Also I was thinking to styrofoam sponge to isolate power board from screen that the middle of the screen will not worm so much. Because Led on screen when gets higher... -
I'm having a random issue with this otherwise nice double oven/air fryer. It sometimes does not respond to the controls. Sometimes only the upper control buttons work, sometimes they all work and sometimes none of them work. The power supply is good as the control board has a steady 5V and 3.3V. The pushbutton switches are all good as tested with multimeter. When the buttons are working, there is about 2.5V to the high side of the pushbutton. I'm assuming pressing a button grounds the input pin to the microprocessor. When the buttons are not working, there is about 0.3 volts on the high side....Yesterday, 11:40 AM
