Insignia NS-LCD32 Vertical Red Line

Hi All:

I think I know what the problem is, but I just wanted to run it by the resident experts to confirm my suspicions.
The problem is that I have a single red vertical line on the screen
It appears to be 1 pixel wide.
So far I have cleaned all the ribbon cables and connectors on the T-Con board as well as the connectors on the "Tab board" the runs along the bottom of the LCD panel.
I've inspected that tab bonds to the LCD panel and see no obvious signs corrosion of breaks in the ribbon cables.
Pressing on the ribbon cable in the area of the red line does not make any changes to the image or the line.
Is this LCD panel bad?
Other than the red line, the TV works fine.
Is there any other things I should try?

Most likely it's a bad LCD panel.

I thought that might be the case.
It's still useable as a computer monitor.
