Samsung TV LE37S81B - Screen refresh problem

    Hello,

I have a Samsung TV model LE37S81B with the next problem:
I select HDMI 1 as source input (nothing connected in such source) in order to have a black background (this makes easier to see the problem). Then I navigate to main menu, and I remain in such menu 30 seconds. When I change to any sub-menu within the main menu, I can see in the screen a slightly reminder of the text options of previous menu. It is like a shadow of previous menu behind the current one, but such shadow is weak and if I stay without change the menu, the shadow disappear along the time (i.e. 20 to 30 seconds).

For example, I go to main menu, first option: mode such default option is “dynamic”, I stay during 30 seconds by doing nothing, then I press up key and the menu scroll up (by going to last option of such menu: “reset”) and “dynamic” text remains weakly in next menu's background, by touching nothing it becomes to disappear and within 20 seconds the background where it was “dynamic” text is completely black, as it should have been immediately after I press up key.

Can anyone help me with this issue? Can it be related with problems in internal power supply? I've reset the TV: Info, Menu, Mute, Power, but the problem still remains, I suppose there is no configuration related with this issue, so probably is a hardware problem.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Also of note: Samsung 37" 720p TVs used absolutely rubbish, bottom-of-the-bin LCD panels; usually Chungwha. These do tend to develop image retention issues after some time, as well as mura effect. Unfortunately there is little you can do to fix the problem.

It seems to be the same problem, did you change the tcon board or you fixed it?
In that case, do you know what kind of defect it had?

Ok, thanks for your help, I've been reading about this subject and it is clear that there is no way to fix the problem, at least is what I understand.

              Samsung UE55JU6800K half screen dark
              by Chrissygizmo
Hello everyone, I’ve just been given a Samsung UE55JU6800K smart tv as it had white spots on the screen due to the led lenses falling off. After refitting them & putting the tv back together I thought it was a nice easy fix for a free bedroom tv , then I tried it before screwing the back into place. I realised that the right side of the screen was darker than the other side, I removed the screen again as I thought the backlights had failed but they are fine.
I put the screen back in place & turned it back on . The screen seemed to be ok again but different screens on the same...

              problem with replacing lcd screen
              by mmccomputer
I have an HP model : 14-cf0011nf and I want to change its display screen (it has an original 14" full HD TN 30 pins panel) which works without problem but I want to put another screen with an IPS panel, the problem is that I tried several screens but there is no display except with the original screen, I never had this problem before I changed hundreds without problems but this PC is not 'accepted than its original screen
otherwise on the motherboard it displays edp and I don't know, do the panels I tried only work with the LVDS protocol?
If anyone has any information on the subject...

samsung galaxy ao2s very temperamental after screen replaced
              by Chrissygizmo
Hi , I've recently replaced the screen in my Samsung galaxy ao2s, at first it wouldn't even turn on, it had the charging symbol on the screen when plugged in but the green circle wasn't going around to show it charging....
Ive eventually managed to get it on and working but it's very temperamental...

The battery icon always reads as 50% , when the phone goes into lock screen mode i sometimes can't get the screen back on unless I plug the charger in to get it to light up, also it keeps putting the camera app on.. u think it could be something to do with the side buttons. ...

              LCD TV Green/Pink screen problem
              by jimjoe123
I have a Dick Smith 37" LCD TV, Model GE6804. I am using it as PC extended monitor only.

Problem is while watching tv, I hear a semi loud click(like a electrical breaker tripping due to overload, just sound like it but no actual electrical overload), then screen is covered with green or pink. I can still see the original picture image but overlayed by green or pink. See attached images. Pink.jpg is what I see, and Normal.jpg is before green or pink screen, What I captured was pink screen, but about 80% of time it's green and 20% of time it's pink.

              Then each time...

replaced with what was in my stock, which is IVO R156NWF7 R2 which is also with On-Cell Touch screen I²C

now touch screen works perfectly in UEFI BIOS menu & boot menu. but not working in OS, tried windows & linux too

with original broken screen i can see in device manager touch screen in human interfaces

but with the new screen it's not showing in device manager

is it lenovo blocking it? is it driver missing?
