Re: best ebooks?
I have Ebooks from Dammon Morrow, Jestine Yong and Kent Leiw they are all good. They have web sites to look at and each have a varity to choose from. At first its information overload but gets easier as you apply what you have head. I also learned alot form this site. This is my favorite. Lots of smart techs. I have learned things that were not covered in the Ebooks and the Ebooks have taught me things not in the the site. With the information from here and the ebooks and some U-tube you can easily gain a good working knowledge and getting your hands on really helps alot. But occasionally there is the OH Crap!! when you make a mistake. These we learn very well and not likely to repeat it. Hope this helps.

by eccerr0rWhat would be the cheapest weatherproof RF coaxial connector one could get?
Searching for "cheapest waterproof RF coaxial connector" gives me F-connectors. F-that. Not 50 ohm. Next seems to be the N-connector, which I don't have any around. I suspect both still should be capped to keep dust and other debris out.
I suspect most hams would use an NMO mount on their cars to pass signals to the roof, but I want something that I could salvage cheap. Having it survive 75MPH+ "wind" is another story but that's a different problem to solve. -
can anyone advise me about most of samsung power supplies, most of them when you put the main supply and switch on the tv ,voltage drops from high to zero ,like when i test Vs voltage maybe Vs is 208 ,then it drops from 208 to zero .i make this disconnecting Z andY board for a power supply test.is it a faulty logic board or the main board itself?i really have no understanding about this issue.

by dmill89So I picked up the cheapest ATX PSU I could find on Amazon that was Prime Eligible. It is listed as a KDMPower MIPC 775w and as of 09/30/2018 was selling for the low low price of $15.57 with free 2 day shipping (for Prime members). I'm sure the wattage claim is pure BS, but lets see how bad (or good) it is otherwise.
The Packaging is about as basic as you can get, a plain cardboard box with the PSU wrapped in bubble wrap and a power cable inside:
Looking at the PSU itself, this is a non-modular unit with a 120mm fan and basic black paint job:

by Ublala PungThe Lenovo laptops V15 and V17-IIL with I5 or i7 CPU and probably many other Lenovo laptop from this time with 10th or 11th generation Intel CPU suffer from a design flaw regarding the display/camera/microphone connector on the motherboard which is badly placed and the cheapest of the cheap connectors imaginable. As the cable is too near to the display and the connector does not fix it proper in place the cable develops little defects and those over time lead to a plethora of possible quirks or failures starting from the named RAM problem or sudden switching off in special when the display is...

by clooI recently got my hands on a 60" Panasonic P60ZT60 plasma tv (european model) that has some strange issues along with an 8 blink code.
It know this tv is getting old but it was once considered one of the best plasmas ever made, and i think it is still holds on to that even by todays standards.
So, long story short. When i first got the tv it had a very bright washed out picture with very raised blacks in all picture modes and i couldn't find the cause in the picture setting menus.
After doing a factory reset this problem was gone and the picture was back to...01-06-2025, 06:02 AM - Loading...
