i'm trying to enter the service menu for lg 42ld420-za by using OK on the tv OK on the remote did not work i used MENU on the tv and MENU on remote also did'nt work, but if i use these method on older models they work,
any ideas THANKS

Hello. You can try this:

Press and hold the {MENU} button ON THE REMOTE until a 4-digit password screen is displayed.

It lists ways to access the service menu for different brands though they don't always work for particular models.
