I've been working on a VO320E that I picked up off craigslist.
The previous owner had tried to repair it himself.
So I had a partially disassembled tv, and and extra power supply and main board.
Both power supplies were missing the ac fuse f1, I replaced one and then started to check out the power supply.
The first one I tried had +5 standby but no 12V even with ps/on was present.
So that turned out to be the diode at D803. I replaced that and had all voltages.
It was at that point I figured out that the video cable from the main board to the LCD was mangled. I found another off ebay for 10.00 shipped.
But the TV would not turn on. So I began to check all the fuses and regulators on the main board.
All the regulators except for TUS2 had good input and output voltages.
Now TUS2 is controlled from the TPS65161, so I started back tracking from there. There appears to be a thermal fuse located at TF1, On both my main boards these were open. +12 volts on one side, nada on the other.
I jumpered this fuse at the moment, and the tv is now working. (Both mainboards had this fault.)
So the point of this story is, that if your VO320E has all the right voltages at the power supply, and all looks good for most of the main board, be sure that the TPS65161 is getting it's voltage. (Pin 8).
Now does anyone have a guess of the value of TF1? The only markings on it is a single N that covers the top.
