    LG 65UQ70 horizontal bars jumping

So I bought this LG 65UQ70 today at Walliworld. Put the wall mount on, set it up, worked for 30 mins and then I get these jumping horizontal bars. Let the TV do updates and let it cool down for 5 mins. Worked perfect for 2 mins. As soon the TV is warm I get the jumping vertical bars again.

Keep the other TCL thread in mind. Now I am questioning are all COVID 2022 / 23 TV's bad or what? That's two 65” TV's one from Amazon and this one from Walmart. What are the chances on that?

I guess this one goes back either later today or tomorrow morning, unless someone has a better idea than firmware updates and reset, as this has been done already,

Are you serious? A second busted TV in a row. That's crazy talk. There's no reason to even guess or try to repair lol just go back

You should be questioning what you have done to TVs for them to fight back at you this hard.

Damn that's bad luck, I haven't bought a new tv in quite a while, one thing I never do tho, is update if I don't have to if there's a setting to turn off or disable auto updates I choose it. Then after the updates been out a while and I see no bad feedback I'll update. Been burned by bad updates more than once.

At one point I was contemplating on putting 480VAC 3 phase to it!

My driving is better than most and I almost touched this TV with my Bosch hammer.

                    Update:
This TV went back to Walmart and replaced it with a different brand. I put this new TV up this evening and it works A1!

Anyone wanna guess what TV brand I bought?

Glad to hear it, 3rd time was the charm, still thinking the tcl had a bad update, from you're description of what happened.

                                  The answer is: S A M S U N G DU6900

Vizio, we usually do not get any here unless I drive 700km round trip. The only Hisense was a display model had none in stock. I had the choice, between ONN, Philips, a pricey LG but a different model number.I surely wasnt to take that same model. That's all there was in a Walmart super centre. The Samsung is still working., picture is good, sounds o.k. so I call it good. I guess we just get chit in our Walmart. Good enough for Canada.

I think so too… look at the TCL thread.
