F@#$in HATE snow, anything over 3 inches/8cm in our midwest flatlands is just useless and miserable. Makes the vehicles rust out from the salt dumped on the streets and makes the seniors slip and break hips, which seems to lead to death soon after.

That's why the right to repair is very important. nomoresonys also correctly mentioned in a previous post #9 he didn't think I would buy a TCL on purpose. Correct! These brands haven't convinced me yet. He is also unfortunately correct on the Samsung brand going to shits.. I guess there are good and bad series, but TCL and Hisense do stick out like a turd on some drug addicts butt laying on a sidewalk.
Also if you look on TCL failures of any kind, you'll be greeted with hundreds of pages of reading material for your pleasure,

So funny when George says "I like to get the morning news" Imo one of the best uses is as babysitter, if they're watching tv they're not in the other room putting ALL moms expensive makeup on the dog. Put on non-violent toons and at least it can keep the kids in one room while you try to do a little multitasking. Just kept it brief, I knows there's a LOT more to be said about it.

They must have cut cost to the bone and now they are pretty much all junk, Lord only knows where they are getting their panels from.
They are so cheap @$$ made, that if I would hang or stand the TV in a sunny room, it would melt by itself looking like a hanging down piece of chewing gum. Well… I know this turned now more into a rant than a fix, but one thing is for sure: I never cursed that much in my life just because for a stupid TV (idiot box, monkey box etc.)

That gives me an idea! Let's hear best slang words for the word “TV”. Can be directly translated into English as well.

Opening your item does NOT void the warranty. They use to put those void warranty stickers on the side to scare you, but it was found to be "illegal" for companies to do this. Unscrewing your TV will not void it. Also there is nothing that would show it was opened. Only if things were missing would it be void. Even if company says it's void, they can't.

But this is in America anyway. I am 100 percent certain about this, but I can understand the fear.

Indeed, I would definitely not void the warranty, I'd send it back to amazon and give it an honest review because those reviews are just not right.

This TV has no reset button anywhere. There are couple of ways in how to get that recovery mode. lotas is right, I also can do a reset, with one small difference or call it bonus feature: I can't see shit on the screen, no matter how much or how bad I curse at that thing.
    Oh! Even wifey noticed!

Not sure what the problem is without opening it up. Problem is I can't open it up if it goes warranty repair or exchange. I am 100% sure there is nothing on the display. I had nothing plugged in, except power. The TV does react to the remote, If I press the home button I noticed the bleeping stops and the LED stops blinking slowly too. Yeah, shorted panel you mean? I think that you may be right. I am starting to suspect this too.

Thanks for all the help guys... but:
    Here we go again... TCL?
click that link and go to the "order the required parts for tv parts click this link". Well... the 65S450F-CA isn't listed. This is a fireTV, not a roku. Off course there is nothing available. What a miserable service from TCL. I am gonna that TV soon. This thing belongs in to the .
    Keep any ideas coming!

Just too bad badcaps doesn't have more required emoji's for this thread. lol

    How to get into Recovery.
    1. To do this, turn off the TV using the remote control, press and hold the power button (on the back right of the TV), after 7 seconds the white LED will start blinking quickly, release the button and wait another 20 seconds, recovery mode should load.
    2. Unplug from the socket and hold down the button. Plug in. Do not release the button for 30-40 seconds. Naturally, no flash drives, the ports are empty.
This TCL has the power button in the middle on the bottom. I tried your suggestion #1 , but I do not get to the fast blinking LED. Suggestion #2 I tried too, but the screen stays blank.
    The back lights are OK.

Today I plugged the TV in without any cables connected, just power. It did its every 10 second bleeping thing again.
Then I tried the blind factory reset through the menu: Home screen, Down Arrow 7 times, press O.k., Right Arrow 1 time, Down Arrow 7 times, press O.K., and then two more times press O.K. and the TV should factory reset. Now after this, the TV stopped bleeping every 10 seconds, but the black screen remains. I do not see anything but black light on. No OSD or anything.

I did notice that the optical output stays on with the back lights off?

Not sure if this is fire os or roku, the one in post # 14 appears to be fire os.
